Yea, blame it all on leadership. A dean of a renown faculty in a university, Bufallo upstate new York was a yorubaman from ekiti over a decade ago. We never knew eachother until the day i was graduating . That said, indians used to dominate our health sector in consumables, pharmaceuticals and devices. But now, we've taken over. China can't dominate our economy for ever.

Once we get leadership right, Nigeria would overtake some members of the BRIKS in no time. Nigerians are contributing greatly to economies of many countries at the expense of theirs and u can't blame them. There's an enabling environment for them to thrive.

Barely 3 months ago, the CBN announced Health Care Loan to cushion the effect of covid-19 in the health sector. Up till now, none of the applicants including hospitals has got disbursed. People are now calling it an audio loan. Whereas, in other countries within Africa, it didn't take them a month before they got funds from their government. IMF approved the loan Nigeria applied for without blinking an eye. We were also granted debt releif with the hope that our government would also do the needful to revive our moribund health sector via various means. Alas! We are still where we are like Osinbajo would say.
