Because merit is not considered in Nigeria a society controled by mediocres favoured and planted by the wicked British.

Nigerians as individuals are the ones doing great things, government is non-existent or at best limiting our people's ability.

I’ve never understood why in this day & age people cannot pass a message online without insults. What has father & son ruling got to do with being bastards? Do you know the meaning of the word? Kenya is a democratic state & Kenyans voted Uhuru Kenyatta because they saw a president in him & it had nothing to do with his late father.I don’t know how you describe backward in your vocabulary but am curious to know how many Kenyans you’ve met in person or you’ve just heard stories. Let’s leave behind archaic habits of communicating disrespectfully on social media. Let’s behave like learned people please.Yes am a proud Kenyan.

You are a proud Kenya.. good to now..don't give it space it's not worth it.....peace!

nooo same way yorubas are afraid of igbos in Lagos that’s why they cry to Tinubu to come save them
look if igbos succeed won't it be for the benefit of all? you think the average Yoruba youth looking for employment will care who is generating employment in the country?? the myopic view of some people in this country is tremendously embarrassing.. you sell goods in Lagos, who do you think buys them? only igbos? keep promoting this kind of rhetoric and see if anyone comes out of this a winner

Exactly. And more than that, there's a lack of critical mass of long term Capital in Nigeria.

The average Nigerian also, sadly, lacks integrity and is often incompetent.

The Kinds of Nigerians these people meet skew their Perceptions. The Nigerians that sojourn out of the country (legally not illegally) are very often high courage/ambitious Individuals. When these succeed, does that mean the average Nigerian is that ambitious.probably no.

God help us.

True. I am praying to God, that come 2023 either Osinbajo or Amaechi becomes president. The way Nigeria’s economy will just skyrocket. I suspect by 2025 maximum Nigeria will have constant electricity maybe even earlier. With all the new profs, new cities, new railways and new roads. There is nothing stopping Nigeria from becoming the next global superpower. Once we deal with Boko Haram and banditry. Nigeria will quite literally have no problems

Guy, why are you raising a red flag?

As I have been saying Nigeria is a great country with a lot of potential, all we need to do is vote in the right thing and believe in the president 100%, currently the biggest threat to Nigeria is not Boko Haram or banditry it’s france and America. They love getting their resources free from Africa francophone countries have their reserves in France. When Nigeria threatened to create ECO currency to get back the foreign reserves of the francophone countries why was it that Boko Haram immediately went on an offensive, with new weapons and Alger numbers. Every single time Nigeria has defied France or America something bad has happened in Nigeria.

America and France are trying to create a Libya, because they can tell, that Nigeria can and will kick all of them out of Africa. Come 2023, APC should field Amaechi or Osinbajo, all I know is if either of them are voted in. Nigeria will go very far, but for them to go very far banditry and Boko Haram need to be dealt with before they become presidents. Under Osinbajo, Nigeria can expect to become a hub of science, health and education, the best universities, hospitals and labs would all be in Nigeria. Indigenous companies would be springing up daily.

Under Amaechi the same thing would happen but at a slower pace.

But this is my main message to all the people who read this.

Do not have a revolution and pick up arms, that was how libya was created.

Make sure that you focus who you are voting in as senators and LG chairman’s they choose if new schools, hospitals and roads are built in your area, don’t blame everything on the president and the governor, and let the senators and lg chairman’s escape, they are the true looters they do absolutely nothing, so remember come 2023, focus on who your voting as senator and lg chairman but especially the president.

Thank you for reading.

Hongkong belongs to China.
Hong-Kong does not belong to China, they have their own government, laws, police and economic system Independent of China and they weren't supposed to be fully administrated by China until 2047.

Now that the Chinese government is veering more towards dictatorship they are seizing more control and making up laws that go against the "one country 2 systems" agreement which is part of the reasons why Trump ended their special trading status.

What the professor fail to understand is that Nigerian greater interest in Kenya is organic and not planned and it is being driven by southern Nigerians, majorly the Igbo because commerce to them knows no boundary.
His assertion about the success of Nigerians in diaspora is spot-on though. That's enough for Nigerians to experience xenophobia in every mindful African country.
Kenyans should focus their suspicion on India and China. Indians have been exploiting East and South-East African countries for decades. And the Chinese authority has a tailor-made plan to buy the whole of sub-sahara Africa over by any mean necessary.
That Nigeria is not doing what the man thinks is all down to the fact that Nigeria is a cojoined country with many unrelated parts forcefully welded together and not a wholesome nation with plans and focus.

Oga 1. UK is a country brought together by bla..bla..bla....
2. US of A is another example
3.UAE is there

These are all United entities with single ideologies and philosophies.apart from the US national flag each state in US has their flag, yet together, same with UK.

Wake up from dreaming and slumber..thinking Nigeria is a mistake of colonialism, other African countries share the same fate with Nigeria, but are doing better.

Nigeria doesn’t need to be like Dubai. Nigeria will be like Nigeria. We need to stop trying to do the same thing as other countries. We need to be unique. I personally want a nigeria. Where traditional culture is made modern like adding our own architecture onto skyscrapers, hospitals, schools, teaching our own languages and writing systems in schools etc.

Gbosa! Gbosa!! Gbosa!!!

All it takes is just the right people with a vision to seeing what we can become as a nation and work towards it....but then, you know our story undecided

Truth b told, over 90% of genuine Nigerian businesses abroad especially in African countries are owned by Igbos..

Since We refused to give them the opportunity here in Nigeria because of the mistake of civil war, they have decided to migrate and expand abroad...

although the few bad ones are trying to spoil the good ones reputations.

The Last few paragraphs are the best pieces I've seen on NL all fucking year!!!

There's no point in taking up arms, Just vote in the right set of people at the grass root, and that is we need the right set of people to also contest elections for the right office, The Sowores and Moghalu and Ezekwesili and all those other smart folks that contested the presidency should be Senators and Reps by now, Imagine if we have 100s of these guys as legislators, The Executive can always be checked, I remember PMBs first budget when the senate cut down Lag/Ib express way budget just to accommodate constituency allocation, That is the major reason that road is yet to be complete till date... Imagine sacrificing Capital projects to be drilling boreholes and sharing pepper grinder and Wheelbarrows, so we need a different set of people as Legislators and even Governors and other grassroot seats
