This have been my point since that's making me say our defence isn't as bad as it's been painted. All these things is just media. I hardly see us create and fluff numerous chances, we feed on scraps, yet it's the defence that concedes 1-2 goals per match that's the issue. Everybody will love Liverpool's game ystdy saying they scored 5 goals neglecting that they conceded 3. The day we start creating chances and scoring goals then we start committing errors consistently in defence is the day I'll join the "we need new CBs urgently" bandwagon

Ceballos is a deep lying playmaker for arsenal. He isn't an Am. In fact, I think he's more of a cm than Am as a player. That's why I said we need an Am. To be fair, on the bolded, I think it's the reverse. It's a good midfield and attack that make an average defence look good, cos defence won't be under unnecessary pressure. The creative players will do their work cos they know they'll see more of the ball, so they'll be focused on attacking.

Good midfield + Good attack + average defence will get you top 4.

We beat City because Luiz was MOTM. Our tight defensive structure ensured that the attack was potent.
