please can you list out the recipe you used.

It's normal recipe for plain cake.

500 g butter /margarine
300 g granulated sugar (or at your discretion)
500 g of all purpose flour
10 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg (optional)

Note:- 250g butter (or 1 simas butter) will do about 20 thereabout. Just divide the measurement by 2

-Sieve the flour, baking powder and nutmeg into a bowl and set aside.

-Crack the eggs and beat them, then add your vanilla extract to the beaten eggs

- Put the butter and the sugar in a mixer ( or hand mix the butter and sugar) for about 30 mins till it becomes fluffy and lighter in color.
- add the egg and mix, then add flour in parts and mix.

-using spoon, put in the toaster, spread it well, cover it, in less than 5 minutes, it's done. You don't need to turn

ALWAYS COME OUT FINE AND CAN STAY FOR LONG.

Rookie method: Mix with cold water into a smooth paste and drop a little oil into it (preferably olive oil). Put on medium-low heat and give it some seconds to warm up. Check with your turning-stick and you will see the base is thickening, start turning and keep turning.

If it is not hard enough, sprinkle a little more on it and keep turning. If it is too hard, add a little water and keep turning.

After turning the first time as instructed, add little water and cover for 1-2mins so it could be well cooked and turn again. I can imagine the frustration, well done. The method she gave you is still the easiest.

Lmao. Because you didn’t turn well. Mix it to be light and keep turning. Add little water and either cover it or keep turning on low heat.
