West Ham United are being linked with a move for Eberechi Eze. The QPR star was one of the standout players in the Championship this season. He is also being linked to Leeds United. The Evening Standard says West Ham manager David Moyes has made the player one of his key targets for the coming transfer window. As the Hammers are safe, Moyes can start making transfer plans. The attacker is valued at £20 million, but QPR may have to sell at a lower price as the club are in financial difficulty due to COVID-19. The Hammers want to continue a policy of signing up and coming stars, such as Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek. 1 Like |

Icon4s: That is the problem. It takes too much effort to get foreign born players to play for us. They may snub us anyway. We have to make use of what we have and then we can source for these foreign borns later. We cant keep begging them. Depending on them is uncertain. If they want to join us it is fine. As per midfield we have ishaq abdulrazaq alhassan yusuf and other teenagers who will develop |

majority of turkish players who makes it to the top leagues and clubs are those born and raised outside of turkey. they are a lot of turkish immigrants especially in germany which is the reason alot of kids with turkish heritage are in the academy of various german clubs MetalJigsaw: 1 Like |

MetalJigsaw: You cant say iwobi Is not consistent do you know the game plans ...iwobi is an technical gifted and very tactical sound player he plays according to his manager instructions ...even messi have his bad days ...so iwobi having bad games Is not really annoying ....the coach instruction might undermine his perfromance take a look at the match against Ukraine ....a very attacking play ..the role of iwobi was damn simple and very easy for him coz it really rhyme with his play pattern the coach ask him to play as playmaker ,and solely responsible for creating chances in the midfield everyone saw the way he shine in the game now compare it to the south africa 1-1 game where he was asked to maintain possession and hold the ball and he tried but failed woefully. 2 Likes 1 Share |

TheSuperNerd: Not surprised at all. Same way Kanu Nwankwo and Mikel Obi were underrated during their days. A lot of young peeps here didn't realize much about Kanu's contributions until someone (u I think) posted his SE highlights here. These are kind of Talented players that don't come to the national team every year. Iwobi is a huge talent, even though he still needs to work on some of his weaknesses. Iwobi is even scoring goals for the national Team. Some thing he has done better than Mikel and Kanu 1 Like 1 Share |

From Oma Akatugba on the Osimhen Transfer Drama Latest Update On Osimhen Transfer To Napoli Courtesy: OmaSports. The wait for the announcement of Victor Osimhen’s transfer to Napoli may finally come to an end on Friday July 24th, Omasports can authoritatively reveal. After long weeks of high expectations, Osimhen may finally be announced as a Napoli player today, with the final touches to the deal already being worked out. As it stands, Osimhen has done his part as a player and the rest of the details are between the clubs involved. Lille President, Gerard Lopez will sign off the transfer today, and by 7p.m Nigerian time, the deal will be announced, Omasports confirmed. The transfer deal which has a total package of €81m has seen Nigerians and Neapolitans showing great interest in seeing the marksman in the Partenopei colours. Omasports has also confirmed that Napoli goalkeeper, Orestis Karnezis is a part of the deal, as he will be moving to Lille in the agreed arrangement. A private jet has been made available to carry Osimhen to a destination (name withheld) for holidays, after which he will fly to Naples for an official presentation as a Napoli player, after his holidays. Osimhen will don the #9 shirt at Napoli. P.S. Note: I understand according to further/follow up reports that some final acts in the contract still need to be signed upon and this may drag into Monday or Tuesday next week. So if this 7pm according to Oma doesn't pan out, then it means by Monday/Tuesday next week, everything will be concluded. Time will tell. But like I predicted... Like I desired... And like I perceived. The #9 shirt shall be Victor's. Vic to Naples still loading.... 7 Likes 2 Shares

Icon4s: What do you mean by snub. It's open to very wide interpretations depending on your perception. When Eze was outstanding and showing great promise, after he had been invited to the SE party. We decided to get a mediocre Nwakali to play a game alongside his brother who had done nothing in the Nordic leagues. And forget a far better Eze and or Oviemuno. Eze had been waiting for years without any consideration he was first snubbed by Nigeria. Or can we talk about the disgracefully way a very in form Sone Aluko was snubbed after outstanding perfomances. But Iwobi was given credence AT THAT TIME unjustifiablly over him. We can go down this road and you will find many questions about the conduct of NFF officials in the past. And see that the snubbing has not been one way traffic The savings grace NOW is that Yobo is part of the set up now and he will not stand for favoritism it will be merit. I can very strongly assure you it's no longer " how it is anymore". And therefore get ready to see a lot more of the "Borough boys" as you call them. |

Icon4s: One big and humongous difference between Nigerian origin players in Europe they do not need the SE to further their careers. As a consequence they are not desperate to sign up with preferred agents of NFF officials and do not understand the language of pecuniary appreciation for selection. That's what you don't want to accept. 2 Likes 1 Share |

komekn: This suggests players like Aluko, V.Moses and Iwobi signed up with NFF preferred agents and gave some pecuniary appreciation to the NFF for selection. Ejaria may also start doing the same in the coming months and Abrahams would have gone the same way, if England did not come calling? Is this what you are suggesting? 1 Like |
