Komekn:- Iwobi was invited when he was essentially an academy player for arsenal, because of the presence of Okocha not because he was exceptional at Arsenal. After the invite, Iwobi cemented his place in Arsenal first team.

Komekn:- English players do not need Nigeria to blossom their careers

Komekn:- The national team is not a place to nuture talents or help fledging careers, but, if we could invite Osimhen a flop at Wolfsburg, Nwakali et al, to help their careers, we should also extend same favors others like onomah, onyedinma, Aneke, otherwise it double standard

Komekn:- English naijas are not desperate to sign up with preferred agents of NFF officials and do not understand the language of pecuniary appreciation for selection.

Komekn: Oviemo has always been eager to play for Nigeria.

Oya carry mic, tell us, is Oviemuno's eagerness to play for Naija borne outta his desperation to sign up with our agents, or was it because he understands the percuniary appreciation languages?

Take the mic...

Imagine calling Ighalo a flop during his Watford days and another claim that Nwakali is better than Iwobi cheesy cheesy

Too much of hard drugs bad!

You are always sounding like a ddanm ffool anyways and anybody that liked that post is no different from you.

First of all , I never called him a flop and when I said 'failed" is used a conjunction word there to explain a condition.

Lastly, I never wrote anywhere here that K. Nwakali is better than Iwobi. You are a deceptive ppunk!

British born Nigerian midfielder Eberechi Eze under pressure to play for Super Eagles

Opera News

Eberechi Eze 21 a British born Nigerian football star has been under much pressure to switch sides and play for the super eagles of Nigeria. On the 5th of October 2018, he was called to the English national under 20 team with his match debut on the 11th of October that resulted in a 2-1 victory against Italy.

The Super Eagles' coach Gernot Rohr and the Nigerian football federation president Amaju Pinnick are hopeful that he can make a significant difference in the super eagles if he chooses to switch allegiance to Nigeria.

Eberechi Eze currently plays for the Queen's Park Rangers QPR, his midfield skill is comparable to the Nigerian football legend ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha. Eze is a midfield maestro delivering impressive results for his QPR side. He scored 12 goals in the 2019/2020 season. Amaju Pinnick is very confident that Eze will decide in favor of the Nigerian Super Eagles having trained with the super eagles before.

To further pressure the youngster, overtures have been made through his parents for him to switch sides. The playmaker is not in a hurry to decide for or against as he's still engrossed with his role in QPR though Leeds targets him to enable their return to the premier league.

QPR has valued him at twenty million pounds but fears that his value may drop because of the pandemic which has reduced the spending of clubs

More info

Oma said the deal will be made official later today at 7pm and other sources like Top french transfermarket Journo, Mohamed bouhafsi and his @RMCsport team have also confirmed same saying later today or latest tomorrow.

The clock is ticking! The countdown to the official announcement is on!

Naples await their new prince... Africa will be presented and take "giant note" of their new record signing/costliest footballer in history. cool

From Oma Akatugba on the Osimhen Transfer Drama

Latest Update On Osimhen Transfer To Napoli
Courtesy: OmaSports.

The wait for the announcement of Victor Osimhen’s transfer to Napoli may finally come to an end on Friday July 24th, Omasports can authoritatively reveal.

After long weeks of high expectations, Osimhen may finally be announced as a Napoli player today, with the final touches to the deal already being worked out. As it stands, Osimhen has done his part as a player and the rest of the details are between the clubs involved.

Lille President, Gerard Lopez will sign off the transfer today, and by 7p.m Nigerian time, the deal will be announced, Omasports confirmed.

The transfer deal which has a total package of €81m has seen Nigerians and Neapolitans showing great interest in seeing the marksman in the Partenopei colours. Omasports has also confirmed that Napoli goalkeeper, Orestis Karnezis is a part of the deal, as he will be moving to Lille in the agreed arrangement.

A private jet has been made available to carry Osimhen to a destination (name withheld) for holidays, after which he will fly to Naples for an official presentation as a Napoli player, after his holidays.

Osimhen will don the #9 shirt at Napoli.

P.S. Note: I understand according to further/follow up reports that some final acts in the contract still need to be signed upon and this may drag into Monday or Tuesday next week. So if this 7pm according to Oma doesn't pan out, then it means by Monday/Tuesday next week, everything will be concluded. Time will tell.

But like I predicted... Like I desired... And like I perceived. The #9 shirt shall be Victor's. smiley

Vic to Naples still loading....

Is this the Eze that has been outstanding since he trained with the super eagles since 2017?? grin
Below is his 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 stats

look at it yourself and judge if he deserves a call up to the national team
komekn:

What do you mean by snub.

It's open to very wide interpretations depending on your perception.

When Eze was outstanding and showing great promise, after he had been invited to the SE party.

We decided to get a mediocre Nwakali to play a game alongside his brother who had done nothing in the Nordic leagues. And forget a far better Eze and or Oviemuno.

Eze had been waiting for years without any consideration he was first snubbed by Nigeria.

Or can we talk about the disgracefully way a very in form Sone Aluko was snubbed after outstanding perfomances. But Iwobi was given credence AT THAT TIME unjustifiablly over him.

We can go down this road and you will find many questions about the conduct of NFF officials in the past. And see that the snubbing has not been one way traffic

The savings grace NOW is that Yobo is part of the set up now and he will not stand for favoritism it will be merit. I can very strongly assure you it's no longer " how it is anymore".

And therefore get ready to see a lot more of the "Borough boys" as you call them.

Internet has a way of bestowing nonentities with a measure of self confidence , while they conveniently remain anonymous so their true identities are never revealed. You wouldn't say this on Facebook.

bro i think Nwakali is a good talent who can still come good but I feel you are being too critical of Iwobi. Alex in the Super Eagles bar Mikel has been our best midfielder. How many midfielders in the History of the super eagles except for okocha do you know have scored as much goals as Iwobi.

His club form is due mostly to various coaches not really knowing how to utilize him. once he gets a role he can flourish in then i think we will get to see the best of him
