Gummygummy:Understanding your initial starting position relative to the cardinal points and all the labels on the map is very crucial for map reading. As soon as you get to the map section, within the 1min you have to preview the questions, find your starting position on the map. If it is paper based, draw the cardinal points (east, west, north & south arrow) at the top of the map. Then quickly read all the labels (including road names and icons) on the map so you have atleast a vague idea where what is, way before the the narrator starts talking. That helps I don't know how to explain "entering" the map, but you need to enter the map like literally, and quickly too For reading, there is nearly always a wrong answer that's not so far from the right answer and which, if the right answer weren't there, would be the next best alternative. Sometimes we fall into the trap of choosing it, especially when it appears as an earlier option like A,B,C...whereas the answer is in D. My own 2 cents. Cheers 13 Likes 7 Shares |

Good day everyone.i've been following this thread for a while although I haven't made any comment before now. I just want to get a clarification. I submitted my express entry profile on the 22nd of March 2020 and my CRS score was 471. I've been checking up while waiting for draws and that has been constant. I just checked yesterday after I learnt of the July 8th draws and saw it had been increased to 472 and I haven't made any changes before now. Can anyone give an explanation for this? |

but going by the number of CEC draw that has taking place this years and the CEC applicants that would be in every no specific draw. Out of the 57k so far, CEC Draw would be almost 20k so far.... so FSW applicants still have something to hope for. It will End in Praise. ednut1: |

I'm sure the individual meant the statement with regards to many things other than the current pandemic. Even when processing for FSW, if an American is applying for Canada PR or your documents are coming from American institutions or you have American experience, the process is different from say compared to Nigeria. They hold America high. It's all politics. bezimo: 1 Like |

Hello guys, Please i need your help on a quick one. I have been on this EE pool for about 2years now. & seeing that my score at 372 couldn’t get me anywhere I decided to do the school route so I deleted my EE profile as advised to avoid dual intent. Currently I have my study permit application for fall 2020 with the embassy. I am yet to receive a response. But on the other hand, I decided to still write an Ielts exam I had already booked, and oshei! I got better results this time (L - 8.5 ; R - 8 ; S - 7.5 ; W - 7) which will increase my score to about 451 (I am not still anywhere I know...lol). I am feeling a strong need to open an EE profile now since my scores are better and I have a better chance for PNP now. Is it actually wrong to be on the pool and apply for a study permit at the same time? Also, if not right now, when my SP is granted, can I be on SP and be eligible to apply for EE? Please I need your kind opinions on this matter troubling my mind. Thank you 1 Like 1 Share |

bezimo: Bro, it's all politics. Countries general form great ties with neibouring nations. It's been like that since the medieval epoch. If Naija is running a program, it will def favour citizens from Ghana and the likes over peeps in like South Africa. Cos they will always need each other for anything in future. Y do u think once u get a US visa, your chances of getting a Canadian visa becomes high or vice versa? Or if you have a Canadian PR and apply for a US visa... They give you 10 years. Also a Canadian citizen can easily get an N1 visa to work in the US so long the person holds a minimum of a bachelor's degree based on the NAFTA (North America Free Trade Agreement). So it's a known thing and honestly, I won't be shocked if t some point they create a special route for citizens of America and perhaps Mexico to relocate to their country, especially in times that US are placing bans on immigration 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Wes said they sent mine yesterday ICAN is saying they are yet to receive, that they haven’t been receiving emails from WES lately meanwhile Wes says they sent them emails. A number of people have complained. I was told to call back next week Friday as they’re trying to come up with another platform to send and verify transcripts electronically. Just wanted to find out if anyone was in the same shoes as me. temitayor007: |

I have also used my tracking number to check but no update till now. I also sent an email to Wes about this issue and then said by the 22nd I should get an update. Today is 24th but I haven’t gotten any update. Is there an advice on what next I can do or should I just be patient? Thanks guys |

Zeus04: I have lived in Canada for 5 years.Thats quite some time to understand what's happening ..Canadians don't like Americans because they are seen as crazy, rude and brash.I know the feeling because I am in the system.Right now Canadians don't want to see any American here nor their cars...because of how poorly they have dealt with the Corona virus in the USA. So what do those Americans do..they lie that they are going to Alaska that they should let them pass through Canada only to end up somewhere in Canada. They insist and have kept the border closed since to non-essential travel. As a matter of fact if you are American and they see you galivanting around in Canada. They will report you to the police and you will be fined heavily..That's current status..just so you know. And your claims that folks who have American visa are likely been given Canadian visa is a flawed claim as I know a number of folks who have been bounced..infact in recent times..Canada has only been approving only 25-30% applicants from Nigeria irrespective of where they have travelled to.. go figure out why? The other existing claims of visa arrangement to Canada/USA are true based on NAFTA.It doesn't change the general feeling of Canadians towards Americans. 2 Likes |
