This your comment just got me thinking...

Pls give me some options...

I too believe I just can't wait for year ending all in the name of admission and appointment that might not come!

Depending on your plans... You can use this period to learn Deutsch language, learn IT, or Learn a Software Programm. This knowledge will help you later on in life.. It will be funny if Non of us are allowed into Deutschland this year and then all we have achieved is Admission letter in the year 2020.

That's just my fear sincerely speaking the way they are giving out admission anyhow. When we are not even sure of what tommorow holds.

We thank God they are giving admission in the pandemic. We strive for appointment date with the embassy.

Hi ireti, click this link https://www2.daad.de/deutschland/studienangebote/international-programmes/en/

Filter based on your preference.

Also, let us know where you are stuck or be explicit or expatiate on what you mean by you're stuck (just want to know the exact place you're stuck)

I pray the above link helps.

Once you get the course of study at daad, on "overview" or "course requirements", there is always a link to the school's website, click on the link to go read about requirements and how to apply. If there is no link on daad, copy the name of the school and course, search on Google, it will take you to the school website, navigate to requirements and how to apply.

Depending on school and course, some allow international students to apply directly on the school application portal, while some make use of uni-assist (uni-assist is a central body that assist schools to help verify and convert international students grade and certificate, and compare if it measure up to German approved grade/certificate).

Uni-assist also ensures that all requirements are given by foreign students before sending to the school; incomplete documentation won't be sent and would be requested for within deadline.

Best regards,,

December is still a win win bro. Bad as e bad December is still OK for all categories to get AD. Embassy wouldn't have a deadline even if it exceeds December. They should give all candidates AD, all we need to do is just to get the letter of presence and extension. Normally if it were on normal basis those in catB would be complaining about getting AD but I guess this would favour all. That's what am actually pointing out.
It would only favour those whose universities permit an extension, some school's enrollment date is October or November and cannot be shifted.
Meaning if they don't get their visa that period, they totally forfeit their admission.
Very painful...

I think we should deliberate on this... The SuSe 2020/21 experimentation with online learning didn't pan out all well. So the winter semester will be a hybrid semester- meaning online and onsite learning... Of which the supervisors/ departments have to apply for access IDs for students to access school buildings when they are needed onsite. I can tell for Uni Bremen and Uni Potsdam that intend to go hybrid this winter. So the question is this... Will it be possible to enroll by proxy since this option is already in place. Go on with online classes while waiting for AD/Visa... Get a letter of presence like most guys have suggested here. Instead of refusing to enrol and forfeit the admission...that is if ur department doesn't allow you to extend or defer, cos it's based on departments not the school. How will that work??

I doubt this...maybe for non restricted/open admissions, but not for the restricted ones. All you take time to send mails, call your student affairs departments... Explain your predicaments. What applies in school A doesn't apply in School B. God help us in this journey.

Kizzygentle:
Should I tell you guys one sweet truth.
This pandemic will favour all students given admission for winter semester because there would be no barriers for giving out AD to both catA and B provided you have your extension letter. There is automatic extension of enrolment till march which is enough time to give all students AD. If your school dosent provide this document you can write to them. You all can as well do the logic. I see this as a win win and God go help us all.

Hello...
I'll be applying to TU Munich, BSc Management and Technology for the winter 2021 semester.

I have everything in order, but some posts on this thread suggest that I should make a reservation for my Visa Appointment now against next year. Is that true?

The fact that the German consulate's website says that they're fully booked till around this time next year isn't helping either.

Hello fellow prospects, I have an AL already, so last week I was sent another PDF by the school( Bayreuth) stating that I should present it to the German embassy in my country, that my admission is a person to person studies and not online as allowed for the summer session students. I can't really quote them word to word.

Please, did anyone else receive such, and how do I go about it?

Thanks!

Hello guys this the PDF my sch sent me as a computer science student going for winter on a masters, they said that my course goes fully online an that my presence is not really needed for this winter, unless I have a visa already that is going to expire or that I have booked a ticket already then I can explain so they send me a letter of presence, so what do I do now cuz I can't make it up here by studying online, we have poor internet connection, poor and unreliable electricity. I tried explaining it to them but haven't gotten a response yet?

On the Flip side the Universitäts can decide to cancel Summer 2021 semester. To enable them clear the back og. Then inform Consulate to interview Forigne students so that they can relocate to Deutschland between now and the Winter semester exams period. Or to interview and issue Visa to Forigne students whose country has open air space.

So that all of us are given between now and next year August to relocate to Deutschland. Then no application is accepted for Summer 2021that way they sacrifice Summer 2021to Covid19.

Whatever way the Universitäts looks at it!
they must sacrifice something. In 2006 The University of Ibadan "sacrifice 2006 Jambites to correct their calender that Assu" strikes" has demanged. Instead of resuming 2006 October we resumed in 2007 October.

The Universities can choose to ignore Forigne students YES. But their Calabar has been affected. Online classes can not correct it.

But I will need to show them proof, that's what they said, like my flight ticket or visa, but I explained to them about interrupted electricity power supply and poor internet connection in my country and I hope they will help.

But bro what course did u applied for
