By the special grace of God January 2021 will not pass me. I've completed my TEFL course on-line and all other requirements are available now except the police and medical which I intend doing in December due to the 6 months validity after which I will authenticate. I've started applying for jobs already and getting both negative and positive response. Most said I should get back to them when the boarders are open. I am also looking at China to teach because they pay more than in Vietnam. At Whyna inspired me to take this part in leaving this country and start globe trotting via teaching English abroad with lots of opportunities. Thank to the merciful God for healing your mum. 26 Likes 2 Shares |

Youonlyliveonce: Someone is confused and He/she decided to ask the OP for further explanation, you jumped on the question as if he/she quoted you. You all need to learn how to mind your business. OP, Well-done. I have a degree, what other qualifications do I need to teach in Vietnam? Should I get IELT or TOEFL. 1 Like |

SaintHilary: Do u know why I dont like online dating. OK. I know a lot of young Naija boys (including my cousins) spend most of their time looking for Oyinbo via online dating in hopes of getting a green card. In the end, they ended up getting married to very old and fat Oyinbo women who were the same age as those boys' mothers. All of those boys were eventually fed by the old ladys' pension funds. I really don't know why there r people who spend their youth to date online and wait for the old Oyinbo to feed them instead of studying more and improving their skills in order to find good jobs. I guess it is cos of their laziness. And in the end, they describe their lives as hell. Therefore, I have some advice for him. He should take time to study more, improve skills to make more money. And prove his lover that he has the financial ability to support his family before thinking about getting marriage. It will prove that he is worthy. What WhyNa doing in this thread is very inspiring. He should learn WhyNa more instead of pursuing marriage of foreigners. It is nothing to be proud of. CelebRepublic: see above. and I cant wait to see the pics of your old Veitnamese "mom" 3 Likes 1 Share |

@WhyNa your update dey always sweet me. Truly a lot have happened oh since your last update and am happy you are getting it right. Always know that you are like John the Baptist that prepared the way ahead. There is very little information about Vietnam here on nairaland so you are the first giving first-hand info about Vietnam. Your thread have place the hunger for Vietnam in many of us and also opening doors for us. I am certain that before December 2021 a lot of us will be in Vietnam all thanks to your exposition. We are certain that you will win more. The land of Vietnam will keep favouring you. Amen. I bless God in thanksgiving for your miraculous deliverance and for the healing of your mom. It's not yet her time. She will reap so much your Vietnam fruit. Keep pushing for your success is our motivation. In few years I am certian more Vietnam threads will spring forth all thanks to you. You are the real odogwu. Ji sie ike Nne. 8 Likes |

It cost me $175 with discount. There are lots of training institutions offering this course online so you need to check them and go with what seems okay by you. But as for me i used Global Language Training, UK EbonyCy: 9 Likes 3 Shares |

Youonlyliveonce: It's not "unnecessary" When I took my time to read the thread ones again, I was able to understand the OP very well. I'm sorry if I sounded rude. This pandemic needs to end so that I can go for my NYSC...till then, make I go register for TEFL. @Whyna, I look forward to more update and I pray God keeps you safe. You're doing well.
