In fact, you've really captured it. Though it is not only Jehovah witness alone, most modern day christians never care to read the bible or prefer to go with their spiritual leaders rather than abiding with the truth of the scripture.

On marriage, JW marry even unbelievers. I have seen a lot of them doing it, especially their ladies.

Jehovah witnesses marry other christians which they tag as unbelievers but as soon as the congregation are informed about it,the member will be dis-fellowshiped and treated like a traitor.All positions ascribed to him or her such as pioneers, special pioneers etc are withdrawn.Such actions are denigrating. All relationship and ties with you are cut. But a Jehovah Witness that is in love with another christian don't send those actions.

I know Jehovah witnesses serving in Nigeria Immigration and Customs.During there parade, don't they salute the Nigerian flag and sing the national anthem.I know a Jehovah witness that have written the first stage of Nigeria Custom Service screening test.Is he not aware that this job is a para-military and he will always pay allegiance to the Nigerian Government.

Their men marry other Christians to convert them to JW members but not their female.

My girlfriend and I broke up on a good understanding in 2014 because she's a JW and we tried if it could work but before things get serious we had to end it.

I want to ask you a question and pls answer yourself with all sincerity. If you were born into a Jehovah witness family, would you not be a JW now? If you answer this question as sincere as I think, then you should stop criticizing any religion. They were all forced on us mostly by our parents.

Religion has caused so much division in this world. And sincerely nobody knows which one is right or wrong, we just dey folo wet in we meet our parents doing.

I agree with your post. I was born into the religion. I know if my parents were Catholics, I would have been born into a Catholic household. However, as you may have realize, some religion or denomination are more extreme than others and you only get to see such extremes when you want to leave.

They are Christians but their doctrines are kind of different from those of catholics, pentecostal and other orthodox churches.

I still remember how they tried convincing me that there is no life after death and that there is nothing like heaven or hell. That after death we go back to the ground as dust that we came from and await the end time for the resurrection. It just did not make any sense to me

It's clear you are a catholic. No one told you there is no heaven nor hell. You were only told we don't believe in hell fire.

We are what we are mostly because we were born into it. Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Shintos etc. Most people did not choose their religion. They were just born into that religion by their parents. The way you revere your religion is the same way others do theirs.

President Putin clearly saw in them a very radical and extreme kind of religion that is far removed from biblical reality hence he banned them. I am sorry to say this; but they are the most religiously racist sect I have ever encountered.
