I noticed on Christain comments you hardly find muslims attacking and engaging Christians...rather Christians engage themselves...
And Christians always complain they have to swear one stupid oath to comment on muslims thread....
I have always said this, muslims no matter what you say about them on aspect like this tolerate Christians more that how Christians do...

My girlfriend and I broke up on a good understanding in 2014 because she's a JW and we tried if it could work but before things get serious we had to end it.

For Jehovah's Witnesses to marry or not to marry a fellow Christian (not denomination) is solely based on what their currently belief as set forth by their religious hierarchy. They can claim from now till tomorrow that it's the bible blablabla. But when all is done and dusted, it's based on the current edict of their religious leaders. If the leader changes their mind, 8m people also changes their mind.

In the months leading to my awakening from the group, an elder in one of the congregations I attended said to members that when they are preaching to outsiders, they have to preach what is there in the bible, then enforces the point by saying, not just what they see in the bible but it has to harmonise with what the religion (they call it organisation) teaches.

This indoctrination crystallises their mind. That is why if you are talking with one of them, and what he is saying clearly contradicts what the bible says, its like a veil covers his eyes from seeing it. He will argue, jumped from one point to another so as not to see what is clearly stated there in. But to know his mindset, just ask him what he will do if his religion start teaching the same thing in the future, that's when you will realise the truth. That these people are men's followers. They are idolaters.

I agree with your post. I was born into the religion. I know if my parents were Catholics, I would have been born into a Catholic household. However, as you may have realize, some religion or denomination are more extreme than others and you only get to see such extremes when you want to leave.

Think: If you marry, will you appreciate if she didn't come to your church? Will it end in happiness? Would you share her beliefs? Even greatly, it will be disobedience to our God. We appreciate marrying people who share our beliefs; it brings happiness and we can avoid marry problems as pre-marital sex, unwanted pregnancies, and STDs.

In Christendom we believe that God is one, and the father, son and spirit are all God.

That's why we pray in Jesus' name, that's why we invite the Holy Spirit in services and that's why we trust in the Father.

Shunning means that nobody interacts with you at the Kingdom Hall and you seat at the back in a separate corner.

I have seen it live at a Kingdom Hall. Refusal of the spouse to become a JW might even result in outright excommunication.

Note that those who became JW after they married are exempted

Op! Jesus was more reasonable than what you posted yet he was impaled. You are logical in your writeup and gave good reasons why JW don't marry from other set and some people here refused to think deep about those scriptures you quoted.

If you are talking about education, I don't think any religion can equate with JW. Either you like it or not...all they have been preaching is here..over 30years ago the witnesses taught me what the end of the world will be like...which is silent in other churches, they don't preach breakthrough, No tight, they are not among those that put the world in this mess we are in today, they are not politicians that embezzled your country money, they are contented and do not participate in war. They follow only what they found good in the bible.

For those pointing fingers on leadership of JW, Can you point one JW that is a Governor, President, LGA Chairman, Councillor, Minister, Senator or rep? If you cant ....then ask yourself why has these people sacrificed all their earthly gains for Christ sake.

JW are the only religion that disfellowship members publicly, reprove or suspend offenders. If the late Micheal Jackson was to be a member of your church your current religion will condone his excesses... Yet JW Disfellowship him after releasing THRILLER.
