Rent is 400K per annum It's not due till November and can even stall till December ending
saved up 250K so far
Any idea on any short term investment with good returns?

I don't advise you risk your rent given the present economic situation. Put the 250k in a high yield savings plan like the Carbon app and work towards saving the rest. Get another side hustle to give you the income to risk for investing.
