Those supporting him will need to convince the rest of the population of why he deserves their support for the 2023 presidential election. Deserved or not Bola Tinubu has one of the worst reputation of Nigerians locally and international. Mainly due to his brush with the law in Chicago,United States for narcotic smuggling and money laundering in 1993 and also seen locally as the face of endemic corruption that plagues the poverty capital of the world, the two bullion vans that were seen in his residence a day before the 2019 election has been the worst political calculation he has ever made.



The only way he will win support from other geo-political zones is if his spin doctors are able to show his achievements in:

1) Anti-corruption - Did he wage a rigorous fight against corruption?
2) Providing portable water - Were lagosians provided clean drinking water from Lagos Water Board?
3) Education - Can any of his relatives attend any Lagos public school?
4) Unemployment - Did he reduce the unemployment rate?
5) Sanitation- Did he construct modern sewages and drainages?
6) Health - Does he attend to his medical needs in Lagos hospitals?
7) Road network - Did he provide world class roads?
8 Transportation - How did he improve public transportation?

Osibanjo whether is he likes it or not legacy will be based on how Tinubu and Buhari have performed. He was Commissioner of Justice from 1999-2007 and has been Vice President since 2015. Did lagosians human development indices increase during his tenure under Tinubu and has the average Nigerian standard of living improved since 2015?

I leave it up to Nigerians to judge both performances at state and federal level.

Let me just talk about two:

1.Education: He built millennium classroom blocks in most Local Government of the state. I went to one of such: Abibat Mogaji Millennium Secondary School.
In addition, there wasn't shortage of teachers as I could remember we had 3 teachers taking English language, 2 taking mathematics, and so on. The subject would be split into parts and each teacher will handle different parts of the subject.
