Aquanitavit: The English proficiency letter or test certificate is not a compulsory requirement for the visa application. I just attached it to my application because I have it already, since last year even. If that is the only document remaining for you to apply, you can apply without it, it all depends on you. Goodluck. |

Aquanitavit:U don't need an English Proficiency Exception Letter, as far as u are a NIGERIAN Am sure the school u applied & gained admission to didn't ask for IELTS from u, and even if they asked (as a general requirement) it was waived for u cos u come from an English Speaking Country, so why should that be the only thing holding u back from applying for a Study Visa, besides its not a requirement for a Canada Study Visa Application Go ahead and apply for ur Study Permit |

tjadeniyi: I will advise you against going to that college... Thats why I said focus on more prominent colleges.. Most of this low calibar set of colleges looks to the visa officer like you are desperate to leave the country ... 1 Like |

Yeanca: Work visa is very very extremely difficult to do... You will need to get an employment from there first , you need an LMIA letter from the employer stating that they have posted so so vacancies for a month and nobody in canada was eligible or qualified for the position which is why they offered the position to an international not presently in canada(this part is impossible)..... Any agent that does it will scam you especially on the aspect of LMIA cos they will forge it (5yrs ban if caught) and you wont know, also they might promise you a job, which might also be a lie.. So be careful.. The process long shaa... Finally this is a Canadian study visa thread.. 1 Like |

Aquanitavit:Hi schools in Nigeria teach in English. You can take a screenshot or something from this website and show to them as evidence of English proficiency and that you were taught in English. Check out this website that most Canadian universities use to give exemptions and look for your university there: https://www.whed.net/home.php |

No wrong person. Going to Fanshawe hopefully. I did my medicals 3rd week in June. They uploaded to IRCC 3 days after of which I have evidence of that from Qlife however it appears IRCC did not receive it thus sent me request for medicals. I have sent them the emedical sheet again alongside evidence from Qlife via webform and now eagerly awaiting their response.

|

chuksinfotech: Please defer your admission to January 2021. The current processing times is 22 weeks and I don't think you can meet up for the fall semester 2020. Even though your school doesn't require a deposit until the first day to start of classes, I would advise that your sponsor (the organization) should transfer the entire funds required for your first year of studies into your account. This is to prove that you will have every access to the funds provided and wouldn't purse to be a burden to the Government of Canada. Note: Your chances of getting approval with company sponsorship is very slim. It will end in praise |

ajoyeleke: It's not a compulsory document if you're going for Master's or PhD program. However, it doesn't hurt if you include one to prove you completed high school education in your home country. It will end in praise |

Godsblessings: Welcome to the thread, I hope you will find your stay here very educating and rewarding. Your husband being the main sponsor of your younger sister's study visa application is considered as a third party (brother-in-law) sponsorship. To this end, he will have to pay her tuition fees directly from his account to demonstrate the provenance of continued availability of funds during the course of her studies in Canada. Having said that, sponsor (brother-in-law) should transfer the equivalent of her first year living expenses ($10,000CAD) into her domicilary account to show that funds are already in convertible currency and will be readily accessible by the PA (principal applicant). In view that sponsor (brother-in-law) has higher ratio of funds in his savings account, he doesn't need to submit an empty salary account statement. His personal savings statement of 17M should suffice to cover for the entire first year expenses in Canada without working to pay her fees. Additional documents to prove his source of wealth at his current place of employment must also be submitted alongside the application. These documents include the following, 1. Employment letter, 2. Introductory letter, 3. Promotion letter, 4. Salary increment letter, 5. Pay stubs covering 4-6 months period etc. In terms of covering what the principal applicant (PA) has been doing since she left the high school (study gaps). Personally, I wouldn't advise you to declare her uncompleted studies here in Nigeria. This is merely because the visa officer will assume that she is a potential emigrant and as such using study permit as a means to facilitate relocation to Canada rather than educational advancement. Consequently, my advise is that she should provide proof of some of the online courses or trainings she has been doing until this moment in preparation for her studies in Canada. You can also state that she has been involved in one or more volunteer activities/projects thereby providing reference letters to substantiate your claims to be authentic. The best and feasible way you can show proof of relationship between your husband and your sister is to get the following documents. 1. Your Marriage Certificate (showing that you once shared the same name with your sister prior to when you got married to your husband) 2. Family/Wedding pictures (Where your husband, your sister and yourself were present) 3. Family tree diagram (provide a diagram illustration showing brief description on how your sister is connected to your husband (her brother-in-law). 4. Bank statements (Showing proof of history or ongoing financial support your husband has been giving to her in the past or present). 5. WhatsApp messages (showing their chats and discussions about her plans to further her studies in Canada.) Etc. I hope you will find this information satisfactory to your enquiry. Should you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out here. It will end in praise. 6 Likes |
