6/10 if he wins the FA cup.
Fair enough.

Who do you think we should buy?

Sarr since I know more about him than the others. But we primarily need a DM most, and an AM.

If Ozil is staying we need him. If he isn't we need a good replacement. Grealish is very good, Zaha too. If we can tempt Ndidi to play EL (if we qualify) with us instead of Leicester that will be great.

An ambitious club shouldn't be going for those kind of players. Though I don't know how good they are. Look at Chelsea, Werner in the bag already and Ziyech too. Havertz probably on the way.
If at all we don't want to go for big names, then let's look within the EPL clubs

You guys should stop it already.
We are all hurting, and all these guys, the players and coaches, including Kroenke caused it.

None of them came through for us when it mattered most.

Auba miss important sitters. Remember the miss at Wembley last season, he missed against Tottenham again this season . Xhaka is mid table standard. Guedouzi is championship standard, Torreira is not good enough. Lacazette is midtable. Leno basically gave Chelsea their equalizer at Emirates with a bizzare howler, before his injury, he was joint top on goal leading errors with De gea.
Emery is not good enough, Arteta is not glittering either.

So why are you guys siding and killing yourselves over bunch of failures and disappointments? I watch you guys from sidelines and shake my head.
For me I ain’t supporting mediocrity, all I’m saying is considering the rot Emery left and where we were headed Arteta has brought a glimpse of hope and I can only be out on him after a TW and how he performs next season.

My gross with Khalifa is despite the obvious gross piece of shii Emery and his love child were dropping on a weekly basis he would rather find excuses for them, scapegoat other players for them. Since Arteta took over and his boy out of the line up it’s been one funny negative stat to the other. If I bring out same stat for Emery, you would see how woeful he performed yet he was quiet during the period.

For what it’s worth, Xhaka has more points per match than Guen, Arteta has more points per match than Emery. We’ve conceded less goal per match without Guen and Emery.

He’s more of a fan of certain players and Manager than Arsenal.

I’m not saying we are there yet but I would have taken him serious if he kept same energy then

shouldn't be too hard to get Ndidi to switch to Arsenal if we are serious.

Ozil is done and dusted we need to move on.
Grealish will not come cheap, and I would rather have Maddison to Grealish. Madison is younger and more of goal threat and complete package.

Ndidi is good too.

Szobolozlai is not a nobody. He is the midfield engine room of RB Salzburg. Everyone was raving about Haaland, but Szobolozlai is the man behind the iron mask.
He will greatly improve our midfield creativity. Liverpool got Minamino, Dortmund got Haaland, Leipzig got Hwang. European teams are shopping in Salzburg.
Roca of Espanyol is good too.

Everything is not all about signing big names. You can still find good quality if search well. Liverpool bought Wjinaldum from Newcastle, and Robertson from God knows where. We splashed big (even though is on installments) on Pepe, look how average Pepe is.

No telling how Ziyech will fare. Harvetz too. Xhaka was one of the bests in Bundesliga before we bought him.

Problem with Arsenal is that we don't move on quickly from bad players. Look how quick Chelsea moved Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Zapacosta, etc on. If it were Arsenal, they would all still be here. That's the problem we have.

So basically, Arteta is doing apprentice job with Arsenal cry

I don't see Arteta doing better even with few more buys.
Kroenke definitely isn't going to spend big, and Arteta isn't looking special .
So I fully expect another underwhelming season incoming.

These are really depressing times for Arsenal.
We fully deserve this because we allowed Wenger stay here past his sell by date.

This is the truth some are yet to see/admit. kiss

That's really shambolic. The loss to Chelsea in a match we were winning 1-0 up to 75mins pained me the most, same with the Tottenham game that we conceded immediately we scored and then went on to lose the match.
We gave away too many cheap points from winning positions.
Our midfield cannot retain ball and manage game. They also have no goal in them. The defense is nonexistent. The likes of Holding, Chambers, Luiz, Sokratis are all Championship standard.
We don't create enough chances. I heard we are 13th on EPL this season, based on goal scoring chances created.
Our problem is too complex and we don't have the money to go out once in transfer market and fix them.
I like this guy already, very balanced. smiley

At the bolded the fans are culpable as well. You will start hearing about age, potential, talent bla bla and bla.

Players not performing and not looking good within a reasonable timeframe should be moved on ASAP. Time has shown they never really come good.

Great teams look at the downside and improve on it, mediocrity is trying to justify bad with some good.
I honestly don't have big issue with Emery and Arterta, I just want those who out of emotions see everything negative on the former and all positives on the latter.

Arterta should be put on the spot also like those before him.

All those pampering and tolerance of failure, is what brought us to where we currently are.

If Arteta fail to win FA cup. It will be a 4/10 to him from me.

They'll call you a pessimist or sadist, but I like your ruthlessness. Don't mind Spy, he is like Wenger, very patient, loves and endures mediocrity/condone too much.

Look at next season. Chelsea is already done with their buys.
Arsenal is waiting for serious teams to finish buying the hot expensive ones, so that we could get the scraps that no one else wanted, and at either cheap or ridiculously inflated prices.

Yenyenyenyen.... tongue tongue

That guy don talk fact.

You can see how he analysed the rot from Wenger, the board and even the entire squad being average and shyte.

Yours is Emery and Guen, and now they are gone, Arsenal hasn't still surpassed 5th and Round 32 of Europa.

The errors at the back are still there, PAL hasn't still blown and Torreira and Ozil dey chop bench.

In fact, We can't still convincingly win Relegation threatened sides.

N.B This is not to attack Arterta, I only put that up for argument sake.

We supported Guen when he was doing fine earlier in the season, and called for his bench when he dropped form, yours was everything negative on the boi.

Emery like every other coach(Who sees the Arsenal job unattractive) won't do wonders with this squad.

I'll begin to attack coach if after having a good team still fumbles.

Is it not shameful that Chelsea and utd are back in UCL, you'll think Arsenal will react by being proactive in the market, only for them to put fans on delay and eventually settle for some retiree or one media hyped players to appease the fans.

I loved the passion and energy Guen brought, I along with some fans even outside here wanted him to start all games, later I realised he isn't ready yet for a whole season, I swallowed my pride and demanded for Partey and Ndidi type who are men enough to carry a team for a whole year.

I used to pamper Iwobi, but when I heard Zaha may show, I didn't mind him going, only for us to settle for Nelson angry

You'll see fans hailing Xhaka like he is some Winaldum or Rodri.

You're right jare, pampering of Wenger days have gotten to some of the fans, only if they know Chelsea and utd are far above us and we are now competing with Wolves,Leicester Sheffield,Tottenham and Everton for Europa.

Beating Liverpool or any big team now is just like the Normal upset of Watford, Southampton winning Liverpool and city respectively. cheesy

The table don't lie.

Depends on his current state. But I don't want anybody that will come online and be eating big salary. Since we are midtable so to say, let's go for players that are justvat the brink not players who feel they have already made it. Again, I would sincerely look at the Ozil issue. He is a big player, our most creative despite not playing much. Let's see how we can sort things out with him after all he is our player.
