My family used to have dogs since I can remember and I had one too until some years ago. I can tell you that cats are certainly more independent. Some of them are very cuddly, like mine, especially the black one but many don't enjoy cuddling that much. Female cats are usually less cuddly and if they are allowed to walk around freely, you won't see them for days at times. Until it gets colder or rainy. But I would not recommend that much unsupervised time in Nigeria.

Your dog is so cute. I have always loved dogs with two colours (black and tan). All black dogs look too vicious for me.

With the amount you earn you can take care of a dog, it's all based on how much you love your pet. You should know how to prepare balanced diets and how to combine the food it eats. A dog needs more of protein, few carbonhydrate, oil and minerals, Fiber's too. You can get carbohydrates from rice majorly, protein from fish, eggs, meat. I use fish majorly because it contains omega fatty acids, it's good for thier coats, buy regular vegetables from the market you either blend it or chop in tiny bits, use your palm oil. And once in a while find out the fruit it enjoys you can give it once in a while.
It would need to exercise often and you can get tonic boosters it's not expensive.

If you need a large dog why not go for Caucasian? Most German Shepherd are medium breed. Even if you give the dog heaven and earth, it will not grow above limit. Concerning the harshness, restrict the dog from too much people, but main looking at the dog, he's doing well.

Shorten the leach, anytime you are walking with the dog. It takes practice and if she tries going forward, drag him back a little.

I stayed in a self contained apartment and lock her up for hours in the cage and about the size I know Caucasian are bigger dogs but still I’ve seen many Big GSD any I’m still working on her just help look into the food content I’m feeding her with

Look into her parents to see if they are big to start with. That would give you a pointer if it's your feeding or it's just the dog

the food combination is okay. the size you need is based on the breed which you buy. They have dogs that are naturally big, like the Caucasian, boerboel, great Dane, doberman etc. At 4 months your dog wouldn't look so big but you'd see difference from six till a year.

This is why you should do your research before buying any breed, i remember when you were about to start this journey and you asked for advice from us. GSD re medium size dogs dont expect them to be as big as a boerboel or Caucasian, also just lik rotts their growth rate is slow compared to other large breed dogs, however when they hit maturity they begin to fill out and bulk up, so be a good owner and be patient her time is coming.

As for aggression limit number of people petting her and also take her to see different environments and vaccinated pups to increase her confidence level

I leave for work between 6:50am to 7:30.

I return back from work between 5:00pm to 6:pm

Is it doable especially when the dog is still very much young?

Can I just drop dry food and hope he/she feeds till I get back.

I know my major problem will be potty training and loneliness is this doable?

very young depends on the age, but it's very much possible. I got mine when she was a month and three weeks and how she's a year old, I leave my home 4:30am and come back 8:00pm and I still take care of my dog. you just have to wake up an hour earlier to clean where it stays then you'll give it enough food and water that would last through out the day till you return. Then on weekends you'll take it for a walk (that's when it's grown). The potty training cab hold during the weekend. When you come back from work, you'll have to stay like 30 to an hour with the dog, so as to observe it incase you notice any changes. For the loneliness you can get an interactive toy to keep it company.
