snowland:What year was this? And you didn’t answer previous question if I should accept or not. Do you know 30k today is different from 30k 10 years ago? Earning 30k you didn’t specify bills that you were paying. You all motivational speakers just come online and talk 3 Likes |

Learn1:Well I guess you only chose the part that you wanted to read and decided not to see where I categorically said you should take the job. So, if you do not take the job, your bills would be nullified, right? You're talking as if you already have a job waiting for you in the west if you reject the 30k job. 10 years, 20 years ago, it does not matter at all. All that matter is that you have something that you are doing. Its left for you to decide on what you want to do. I gain absolutely nothing by motivating you. Once again, God bless your hustle. 7 Likes |

Learn1:I'm presently earning less than that per month as a graduate intern in Lagos,i move within iyanapaja-onipanu which is #400 t.fare everyday, but you know the funny thing,in two years interval i'm being called for an job interview whose salary worth 170-200k. Though the Job is still in pipeline but if it eventually scale through do you know what percentage increase is??,when people see me then they won't know the story behind. Reach out to those people who are legitimately successful today and they will tell you it comes with a prize, smartness, sweat, intelligence,Honesty endurance and Grace. Never forget the goal, skill,it sometimes hidden in mud and dirt. 1 Like |

mamaafrik: Lol but you didn’t state the bills you pay. You could be staying with your parents and the 20k for you is just for data and transport. See through what I wrote rent here is even 8k a month. |

Despise not the days of little beginnings... If you want to follow a career path and you get an opportunity to start small in the path.. Take it and do certifications while at it...it will boost your chances at better jobs.. There is what is called sacrifice. The universe responds to what you put out there. Me I am from delta. I had the opportunity of a job as a INdutrial trainee at 10k/month in Lagos. Mind you I was a graduate.. My salary was only able to carry my transport fair in Lagos.. Although I had to squat with a friend...and so. E times go without food. 6months later I was absorbed into the company at 90k/month and a year later I got another job in another company at 600k/month.my life changed and after then I have had jobs that offered me 5million naira a month outside the country... My advise grow your trade. You are only as relevant as your last experience and certifications. Degree takes u no where. Something gotta give. It's your choice.. I am not saying this may work for you.. I am saying most people I know have even worked for free in these conditions because of experience and today they are where they hoped to be.. Others are not there yet. So figure it out yourself and make a decision based on your convictions. Nobody can help you but you. It's your sacrifice and your failure or success.. No one else... Take it or leave it.. But what I can tell u is that For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Newtons 3rd law of motion. 7 Likes |
