Why do I need to sound like a broken record to sound right to others?

I, including others like you have kept the thread alive for over a year, I have had heated arguments with those who chose to threaten individuals with stories, which is a great disservice to this thread, and Also stand against those with a veil agenda to promote their groups as being superior.

We all have our modus operandi on this thread, while others choose to bring out points of note on every tale, there are some of us who act as checks to opposing forces trying to antagonize the thread. There are loads of silent readers doing more anti cultism evangelism than the rest of us by distributing this link to a wider audience off nairaland.com.. Will you say they are less responsible cos they do not know conform to your taste.

Like I said earlier, over 90% of the stories here have a semblance of each other, and we all have analyzed the lessons in them.. The more the stories depicting different localities and times, the more people appreciate how close this menace is, and why it should be a topical issue.

We all are occupying different niches on this thread....

The end point is always to insist and preach that the reward of cultism is often doom...

He was chilling at his girlfriend's room at Ramat before he was lured out.

But we need to "domesticate' the message of this thread to the teeming population of youths who needs this info, but may not get it if you expect them to read a long post.

People like:
1. Semi-literate touts who are not disposed to reading anything more than a sentence.
2. Educated youths who don't like reading, almost like 1 above.
3. Parent like 1&2 above who need to help their children from cultism.

As in, how can we educate the common man through mediums they can easily be reached, to open their eyes to cultism, it's evil, their traps, and how to avoid it.

We can see that we need to get this message to their media that is common to the common man. Such medium as:
movies
songs
street slogans
religious bodies
school authorities

These will go a long way in preventing so many people from joining cultism, as well as help those in it to quit.

Let's help in our 'little' ways. You never know how much that your little song or drama, or anti-cultism slogan, or street song will do in helping the course.

Lots of people got killed as a result of one reprisals after another after Iroko got killed.

However i learnt they still clashed in January this year and some people got killed on both sides but the clashes are not as frequent as before.

I sight you unknownsolja. It's people like saynotocultism, Neddstark, enthronedbyGod1 and a few others that still keep me here.

I'm always online and read but like I said from the beginning, I won't add personal experience. When the thread started, that's how someone accused I and another moniker (I can't remember) of raising the roof of cultism, albeit the said person didn't read in-between the lines.

How can the expose be complete if those that want to come out are seemed as "outcasts, social misfits and never-do-wells"? Are we saying that it is not worth redeeming people who have made mistakes in life?

I'm having someone put all the stories together in one piece so we can upload it somewhere & have OP paste the link on the home thread to make it an easy read for new entrants. 300+ threads is large. This link can as well be post on other platforms so we can get to more youths out there.

I wanted it to be raw, just as the OP narrated but from the bit of work I've seen, there may be need to edit and re-order the story to make it a pleasurable read. Is this a good idea?

Also a lot of good people have contributed to the thread. Will it be a good idea to add theirs or make it strictly the OP's?

I'd need the input of good & sensible people of the thread on the above.
