About five days ago, it was all over the news that the former speaker of the Nigeria's House of Representatives, Honourable Yakubu Dogara defected to the All Progressives Congress of Nigeria, of which he was accompanied by the national acting chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni to meet President Muhammadu Buhari, in the state house, on the day he defected to the ruling party.

Days after his defection, a political activist and PDP member, Chief Femi Fani Kayode has reacted to the development on his official Twitter handle saying that, Yakubu Dogara is a good Christian and should not be found in the company of the APC, because APC is full of darkness.

He also expressed his mind saying he doesn't know the reason why he defected despite the governor of Bauchi State, Governor Bala Mohammed, who is a PDP member do treat him well and with full respect.

..This is especially so given the fact that I happen to know that my brother Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state treated him with so much respect, generosity and kindness. I am convinced that he has been put under a spell and is the victim of some form of demonic ritual voodoo spell & witchcraft.
I expect nothing less from the @OfficialAPCNg because that is their stock in trade. They are a party whose leaders are well versed in the black arts, the occult & sorcery. My prayer is that God delivers Dogara & cause him to come to his senses

It is obvious that Apc will never give him any ticket because he worked against the party in last election. Those that exhibited loyalty to the party will not agree. Also Buhari does not forgive and Buhari was very displeased with Dogara and saraki. So strange this his move.And well he is not even a Muslim so his fellow northerners do not really trust him.
As you can see, tinubu has quickly disowned him saying he defected for his own agenda.
So the truth is the move surprise people when like Dogara. Bala is not a saint but he would have made sure Dogara was getting steady income as he is a generous man.
