Help! Cows Are Disturbing My Farm!!! by UndauntedYOCA(f): 10:17am On Jul 30, 2020
Uh, so I have a small farm where I farmed some things but I recently found out that cows have been entering into my farm and destroying my corn, I doubt if they feed on yam leaves because they haven't done any harm to the yam I farmed, I only see the marks they leave on the heaps.
What would guys suggest I do to prevent them from destroying my stuff?
Also, I will be farming beans this week but I'm scared the cows might also eventually feed on it as well. What can I do please?

Lol funny comment but I think it'll be useful. I think I'll make use of broke bottles since I do not know where to get thorns, however, I'd like to let you know that it's a barrack. I don't know if it'll have repercussions oooo.

Seriously? What's with the insult? Do you have life issues that are really disturbing that made you say that? This is so wrong of you bro, for real and I'm quite disappointed.

no repercussions whatsoever. The herdsmen will never trespass in your field anymore

most people who are abusive online have life issues or difficulties; family difficulties, financial frustration or poverty/low-income earners, emotionally devastated or disappointed people, academically or educationally frustrated/repeats/withdrawals, etc. They easily pour out their frustrations online since they condone so much in real life, online just give them avenue to vent out under the protection of an anonymous forum.

My advice; barricade or fence your farm, use medium-sized sticks, if you had money you could fence it with concetre blocks, third option is wire gauze fencing. Three options I have there.

Set up a make shift fence around your farm. The cows will more likely not break it down

thorns? As in traps you mean? I heard some people use poisoned water in a container and leave in their farm since those cows can be persistence, reporting to the herdsmen is useless and my dad almost try this method when cows ate my beans on 2plots of land 2seasons ago but conscience and the look on my face won't let him,if the farm is not that big just get a local carpenter and make a small fence with bamboo rods as they are cheaper and lasting as someone suggested. Don't even think of planting beans until you find solution as you won't harvest 1cup if you do,and don't ever talk or be aggressive with the herdsmen if they meet u on your farm except u understand their language(herdsmen no understand french o) and avoid them at all cost pls i hope you understand why i said this, the report we hear from here abt havocs they commit especially in SE states is no joke o

LOL guy those cows are strong, you need to hurt them before their herdmen can notice the pain his cows are causing you (if i know any type of tranquillizer i can drop in water for them,it would have been better cos it will scare the herdsmen away

I heard that splashing cow dung on your plants prevents them from going close to the plants.

I'll think this through and give it a trial. The land belongs to the Nigerian Army so I can't just do anyhow, lol. I'm appreciative of your response. Bless you.

What? Ate your beans? Lol, sorry about that. Those creatures are crazy.
I won't be aggressive with them don't worry. I don't stay close to the farm so I don't know when they go there sef. I'm not even that concerned about the corn, na the yam and what I intend planting that I'm worried about. If I can't plant beans then maybe I'll go with sesame seed, read cows do not eat it sha.

I believe there should be the herder. You can reach an agreement as to how to prevent the cows from coming

i hate cows except for the meat, pls do your research and locate nearby farmers and ask questions based on their experience with the beasts...cows are weird as you will be surprised on varieties of stuffs they eat, just becareful sha,and don't often visit your farm alone as a lady,(not that they visit a particular farm, its just that they branch every where when they gaze and its likely there is a stream nearby) pls be careful oi as i pray you will never be a victim o,those things are wicked as they love their cows more than their lifes and they always carry knifes e.t.c
