Thanks for the reply,you just made me check all papers including custom duty,loaded trunk means with the trunk filled with luggage and about 4 adults,looking at the acceleration and handling

Toyota Avalon is roomy and has a grand feel to it whilst at the back but it is somewhat close to the Ground,whilst Camry is a little bit higher than Avalon from the Ground,but both performs well.

buy it if you like it reliable vehicle. But you can avoid the AWD variant of you can due to high part prices

I am about buying the 2009 Toyota corolla but someone mentioned that it has AC issues which appears to be a factory error, and can't be resolved by changing components.

I have already used the corolla 2003 model and wanted upgrading to 2009 since the 03 to 07 models have same mould. I was initially thinking of getting the 05/06 model.

Someone please advise me on what decision to take cos I have a slightly lean budget.

Do u get power when u turn the ignition to ON? Iif u do, see if the check engine light is illuminated. If not. You've fried your ECU

Toyota matrix is a good car ,smooth and reliable,and is a good run about car,if you want it research more and buy it.

Corolla is voted in many car review as reliable,05/06 is a cool car ,my experience within city limits is its fuel economy and been a good runabout car.Get it if you want,let the Ac be seen by a Good AC tech

It has happened to me before. The car actually cranked but couldn't move. My auto rewire changed a panel attack to the battery terminal. I don't know the name.

Then the corolla is your best bet,because the controls are easier to understand for elderly people too

My sienna 2002 XLE makes a rattling sound whenever I start the engine on cold start.
The rattling sound stops at exactly 8-9 seconds and it won't repeat until the next morning when the engine must have cooled down.
My mechanic thinks the oil pump is weak,please what do you guys think?

I am not a mechanic but that rattling sound early morning is normal.. I experienced it with my 99 sienna last year too which I ask gazzuzz and he told me it's normal
