Goddys: You are afraid of migrating cos you are not willing to ride a Bike? Success is far from you bro. Just the fact that you think migrating to UK with 4m [borrowed money] to study will be rosy is alarming. Depression is calling on you 17 Likes |

Youonlyliveonce: Information is power. What you don't know is above you If you stay in UK for a period of 4 years (2 years as a student and another two years post work visa) as a Nigerian guy and doesn't make a minimum total of 40 million naira in that 4 years, know you are very lazy. At the end of the 4 years, you will have UK degree and savings not less than 5m naira if you are prudent with resources. Also learn how to be tactful in your response, you are not a tout 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Goddys: Lol even tho you are trying to sound smart you still sound very gullible like the average Nigerian think traveling abroad is a get rich quick scheme. who am I to stop you from going to make your 40million in 4years, ride on bro God Bless Nigeria 6 Likes |

Youonlyliveonce: What baffles me is how some people think they know it all when they haven't crossed Nigeria border. What you dont know is above you. I'm not dishing out free information on that again. It's costly. Goodnight |

Goddys: Go and dish out your gullible free info on UK threads, if you took time to read well you would notice this is a thread about Vietnam created by an amazing lady in the country unlike you crying in your father's house and making excuses like "Im afraid of going to Vietnam cos I don't want to ride a bike" Do you know how pathetic that sounds? 15 Likes |

Re: My Journey To Hanoi, Vietnam by Goddys(m): 11:16am On Jul 30, 2020 |
starboychan: The other tout above that mentioned me thought he knew enough. With 4m naira, you can handle all these things and even get funds to prove to UKVI you have enough but I'm not revealing more. The information is expensive. By January, I will be in UK running my postgraduate |
Re: My Journey To Hanoi, Vietnam by justwise(m): 11:17am On Jul 30, 2020 |
Goddys: I discovered that with 4m naira, one can travel to UK and start postgraduate study and even payoff the entire tuition within 8 months working 40 hours a week. The 2 year post study work is another time to make enough working day and night to migrate to any better country. Vietnam is good cuz its low budget. If you can afford UK, go for it and save enuf before your visa expires. I am now afraid of migrating to Vietnam cuz I can't ride that bike. I'm yet to learn how to drive a car. not to talk of bike on expressway That is completely false, studying in the UK will cost you at least £20K which is far more than 4M naira. 11 Likes 1 Share |

justwise: bro I'm speaking from experience of a cousin doing his postgraduate degree over there. All he had was 4m. He is earning enough to cover other costs. I don't want to reveal much cuz I know UKVI go through this forum. It happens all the time |

Youonlyliveonce: Good day, please i have been following this thread for a while. My questions; 1- Can a HND holder gets an English language teaching Job in Vietnam? 2- If yes, what are the requirements. Regards. |
Re: My Journey To Hanoi, Vietnam by Youonlyliveonce: 9:15am On Jul 31, 2020 |
gambia: Yes you can epecially if you major in an education course but not compulsory You will need to have a TEFl Certificate [120 hours is good but 150 hours might increase your chances] If you have both you can start applying for jobs [Familiarise yourself with Viernam CV Format] hopefully you can get a job and the school is willing to assist with Visa and work permit, if not get a reliable agent to help with work permit and visa process then make your way to Vietnam. Teaching jobs are waiting for you. Incase you want to ask - No I do not know any Vietnam Visa agent! 5 Likes 1 Share |

You are right, I stand to be corrected. Though with the right research and right agent it's still very possible. once again I do not know an Agent, make your own research if you are really interested 1 Like |

gambia: To start with, you might need to read this thread from the beginning you will see every info on requirements. I sincerely doubt if you can process a work visa with HND certificate. I am not really sure. They seem to recognize Bsc only. I am not 100% sure though. 1 Like |

@whyna I really enjoyed reading your thread. I reside in the USA but I have always enjoyed traveling and I plan to travel to South East Asia some day. I got to know a lot about Vietnam by reading your thread and I hope you continue with this thread as it is informational, educative and pretty interesting. Sadly you cannot open a thread in Travel in Nairaland without being bombarded with questions about how to get a visa even when you categorically state that the thread is NOT a visa thread. Looking forward to reading about the rest of your experiences in Vietnam. Hope you are keeping safe with all the Covid wahala going on. 4 Likes 2 Shares |
