When you say mature, do you mean your 28-day count? Or do you mean that's when your statement will be ready for the 28-day count? Do you have your CAS already or will you just be getting it in Sept? A bit more details will make it easier to give you the appropriate answer. You can post subsequent questions in the student visa thread below; https://www.nairaland.com/5816163/uk-student-visa-tier-4/17 Yea, when I say mature, my bank statement will be 28days during the first week of September. Middlesex University said they will issue CAS by the end of July, still yet to receive it. I have already done my TB test. My question is can I still make it to the UK before 20th Oct? |

OptimisticOne:Having a fiancee is a strong tie back home. In your cover letter talk about your fiancee and how long you have been together. Show a throw back picture of two of you together like some years back and a current picture together. Talk about your plan of getting married by January. A supportive letter from her is ok. |

Usually there's no need to resend/ re-upload documents that have been successfully received except they are requested for again. OptimisticOne: |

You being able to meet up will be dependent on how fast the application is processed seeing as priority and super priority has been suspended till further notice. Sweetkid: |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by mimilyrics: 5:57pm On Jul 30, 2020 |
I learnt that you'd need to provide an address now for isolation reasons so maybe an AirBnB accommodation will suffice or if you have someone you can stay with, it might help. You can check the student thread in the link below for info on it: https://www.nairaland.com/5816163/uk-student-visa-tier-4/180 drills: |

famzynet: What if you were asked to show your TB test certficate at the POE? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Flexvilla: 7:45am On Jul 31, 2020 |
I researched yesterday online about it and found out that the TB test should only be valid at the time of application. You can travel with the expired test result and if they need a new one, there are X-ray machines at the airport where it will be done free of charge. Someone in the UK also verbally confirmed this to me last night too so no qualms. Travel with confidence. ukay2: 1 Like |

Please has anyone who had their appointment cancelled before the lockdown gone for submission now? Am asking because when I booked my appointment in February to submit my application on March 30 I paid N11,700 for assisted service. But when I rebooked my appointment last week to submit now on August 18 I was asked to pay another N11,700 for assisted service. So I want to know if they refund those that submitted this week. Thanks |

[quote author=mimilyrics Goodmorning NairaLanders! I did my biometrics on the 19th of March before the lockdown. Tracked my application on the 30th of July and saw this! no email notification till date. Does it mean that visa was granted ? Just curious, I was told by a friend that also submitted before the lockdown that he got refusal via email. Is that the new norm to send refusal via email ? Has anyone experienced this before ? Hopefully I will get an email notification for pickup by next week.

on the mail it was quoted as " vac didn't receive the application . I don't think that is refusal. They are still working on it I reckon. |
