Hi house,

Please I have some quick questions.

My current crs simulated score is in the 450's with 2 years experience. How ever I hope to increase it, for eg. Say I include a teaching experience which doesn't directly relate to my choice NOC, will I still be able to claim the > 3 years experience points ?

Also I am not clear how people get the provincial nominee call ?

Thanks. Advice appreciated.
yes you can claim the 3 years. Provincial nomination depends on the provinces some chose from pool, some you apply if your noc is part of their in demand noc, some require job offer. Visit their websites for more information

Although, I am new in this journey but I believe there will be substitute to the requirements as CLEARLY stated on their website that A,B,C or its equivalent. I think a Post Graduate Diploma is higher than bachelor degree,
POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA=
Postgraduate diplomas and postgraduate certificates are qualifications at the same level of study as Masters degrees, but they're shorter and you don't have to write a dissertation. That means they're more advanced than undergraduate Bachelors degrees.

The postgraduate diploma is a postgraduate academic qualification taken after a bachelor's degree. It is usually awarded by a university or a graduate school.

@ the person with EOI, just be hopeful, I believe it will work in your favour.

lasignor:
One of the 'two or more degrees' has to be a Bachelors degree. That's OINP requirement. They won't accept a diploma of even 3years. I won't advise you to proceed

bsc plus ican aat = 2 or more degrees.

Bsc plus ican aca = bsc. The ican aca is not evaluated favorably. No Canadian equivalency
Thanks ednut1, i have researched extensively on this but one thing i am still not too clear about is that it seems ACA gotten earlier than 2014 gets positive verification from WES. I really need this point to stand a chance smiley

Hello all,
Please what Nigerian card is best used for payment on CIC website? I am trying to pay the sum of 1,200CAD (about N330,000) from a Zenith Mastercard and I am having a tough time doing this. I kept getting code 483 error. What could be the problem?

That’s a rate of 275naira, do you have more than 330000 in your account?? Heard someone was charged 315naira for a transaction last week, maybe due to insufficient funds it’s not going through..

old syllabus of pe 1 to pe 3 used to get. For now no show. Better to sharply go do cima foundation or acca 1 to 3. this is someone who qualified in 2013. https://www.nairaland.com/3999848/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/478#62485670

Hello everyone,

I and my wife just received NOI from Ontario Under the Human Capital Priorities Stream. While trying to fill the application, we found out that one must have a Bachelor’s degree before one can proceed but what we have is 2 or More Certificates which WES evaluated as 2 years Diploma, 3 years Diploma and 1 year Postgraduate Certificate.

I’m worried. What can we do?
Some people are telling me to proceed but I’m skeptical about the whole thing. Here are the screenshots.

Found this, as i am concerned it may be my turn soon in few weeks time... @lasignor, wetin u feel about this image?

Looks like even if ECA says 3 year diploma but does not explicitly say Bachelor's (at least), you may not be able to use it, according to OINP.

Also if the ECA body found a postgraduate certificate/diploma to be the same as a Masters I assume they would say so explicitly.....and applicants would be able to claim Masters - 126 points instead or 2 or more certificates - 119 points.

I do not think postgraduate certificate/diploma is the same as Masters according to IRCC website link below; they give it 119 points when combined with another certificate or diploma.

Access has a horrible rate. Try Stanbic. Limit is $1000 daily/monthly and rate is better
chygoz3:

Try and get access bank visa card. The daily limit is $1500 and monthly limit is $3000.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Chenkes: 12:57pm On Jul 31, 2020
Sterling is a no go area for now. #472 to $1 all through last week up until yesterday. Stanbic on the other hand was 420.

Use Stanbic instead. Using Oanda, $1000 is about 1340 CAD. Sterling rate all through last week to last night was #472 to $1, while Stanbic was 420. Zenith and GTB have better rates but lower limits

Hello house, I’ve been trying to do my Wes payment since yesterday and it’s not going through. It just keeps saying “for international cars, please contact provider for assistance”. Dunno if it’s anything to do with the billing address but I provided correct info though. My card has been configured already and I’ve used it to pay on Amazon and AliExpress. Please kindly help.

Hi, i am following up on your diary sessions and unfortunately i can quote there to ask my questions.

You stated that you made use of etx to send you the your transcript to Wes. Please how long did it take to send to wes (i know it depends on schools). Also have you been assessed by Wes if yes may i know the duration? Thanks

Hello, ETX forwarded to WES the same day they received my transcript from my school. I used their delivery option though. My evaluation is yet to be completed so I can’t give the duration for now.

As at this week? Cos I used it 2wks ago and it was $1000. Anyway I'll be trying it again next week and will provide feedback.

Update: It appears you are right. Tried making a transaction of $600 this morning and it didn't go through. Had to reduce to $500

#420 to $1, but you might want to pause on that. Someone just mentioned that the limit has been revised downwards again

Please, I need advice.
From my simulated crs scores, my spouse's score seems to be higher than mine due to age advantage.
She's 31 years
She has Bsc
Her Noc is 4031/4032 which seems to be Sask Pnp demanding.

I'm 38 years.
9 years working experience with Noc 1228.
I've Bcs as well.

My major concern is that it's not up to a year since she started teaching in Private Nursery/Primary School. They normally collect their salary at hand because it's just a new school and the salary account and pay slip are rolled out in this case. It might also be difficult for her to get Ref no from there.
I was thinking of telling her to switch to her aunt's school, though a little bit far so she could get favour from her.
Under this circumstance, what do I do?
I'll really like her to be the PA. We're also working on bcs together.
Thanks
