I tried contacting d guy but when I called d line yesterday night the person that spoke with me said he doesn't know about any Gen and the guy has earlier said he will do pay on delivery on Saturday and when I asked for the details of the gen he went offline and later he chatted me up that he will collect part payment before bringing it and I also replied that I will be coming this Sunday to lag to pick but he later said he's not in town presently so my people beware oooo 16 Likes

yemitexcel: I was scammed the same way here. He asked me to pay and he will give it to a driver. Baba collected money from more than 5 others. I have learnt my lesson. There are many scammers here. Always go and inspect before paying. They will tell you that many others are in a hurry to pay, that you should act fast. Never pay anyone. Even if they promise to waybill it. Let the person you know go and collect the stuff and help you to waybill. Another pointer is how long the account was registered. It's highly unlikely that an account that was registered 2018 downwards will scam you. It's usually newer accounts. That is not to say that they can't. Just shine you eyes. If it's a heavy item, just shine your eyes before going. NEVER PAY ANYONE BEFORE INSPECTION EVEN IF THEY PROMISE TO WAYBILL. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANYONE THAT CAN GO AND MEET THE SELLER, IGNORE THE DEAL. MORE STUFF FROM YOUR LOCATION WILL ONE DAY BE LISTED HERE. BE WISE. THERE ARE MANY SCAMMERS HERE OO. |
