I haven’t done biometrics but I did upfront medicals and also my application status still shows that my eligibility and background check is still processing

Don't worry about that. Some people even get approvals when their eligibility review and background checks are still on. Congratulations! You are only waiting for VFS to reopen and you'll get a PPR.

Congratulations, let me understand better. You applied on the the 16th, did you use the web form to submit your upfront medical on the 22nd or after?

yes I did,I used webform to upload my the emedical slip i received from the hospital on the 24th

the message says you have passed preliminary eligibility assessment. So it means they think you are eligible for study permit. What is left is your admissibility (biometrics to see if you are not a criminal and the likes)

I also got admission. But I wanted to confirm something.. Did the University send you an admission letter or an enrollment letter to sign a contract and to fill in your details?
