Greetings, budaatum, my apologies for creating the thread late. Actually, i created a thread enumerating the kind of books i would like but the spam bot for an unknown reason to me- "botted" me out and consequently erasing my thread. i just got my posting privileges back.

To the audience, i kindly ask for books that secondary school kids and undergraduates can read. As someone they look upto i want them to have a thinking, contemplating, scrutinizing and not just believing minds.
i also want them to realize that Satan is not to blame for the woes of the earth as we know it. so books that would tackle this issue would be welcomed.
i would modify the post later to make more precise requirements.

I am reading Man's search for meaning by Viktor Frankl but taking a break because I cannot fully wrap my head around the psychiatric terms used in the book.

Right now, I'm heading to Rational Male Volume 3: Positive Masculinity by Rollo Tomassi. Though I've read it before, but this time, I want to acquaint myself more.

I think it will take me approximately 10 days to read base on my time schedule and other activities, but I know my pace---it might not even get to that period.

The book is not friendly with first time comers but it is highly recommended and for this reason I decided to read it but got whipped.

i downloaded the book but couldn't go past two pages.. The whole concepts and lingo are really heavy. I was turning to and fro on my bed trying to process just a few sentences. But its table of contents has been sparking curiosity in me so i know im definitely not going to have peace of mind till i read the book. Lol.

Heavy book, ain't it? Lol. A real head fuq. Yes its heavy. To start with, its translated from German. And Heidegger's use of making words up made it even more difficult to translate than some, more especially since he was breaking new ground.

victor Frankl book is an inspiring novel , even when his situation seems hopeless he still had the will to live.

What brought on reading "Man's Search For Meaning: The classic tribute to hope from the Holocaust" by Viktor E Frankl. I can understand how or why Buju Banton, said he read the book and that he can relate to it, but I am just curious what got you go read the book. I didnt see anything in the book that was heavy for the head to wrap around though

Job, who suffered greatly after God gave Satan permission to attack, at Job 6:8-9 and Job 7:15-16 had suicidal thoughts. Elijah, at 1 Kings 19:4 above, had suicidal thoughts after being overwhelmed by Jezebel's hostility and ill-treatments. Jonah at had suicidal thoughts at Jonah 4:3 and would you believe it Brandstudio01, that even Jonah vehemently, in Jonah 4:9, restated this to God's face, hmm? Jeremiah another big man, out of frustration, actually in Jeremiah 20:14, like Job did in Job 3:3, cursed the day he was born. He further in Jeremiah 20:18 queried why at all he was born, lol. I am sorry I laughed, when its not really a laughing matter. Depression is a serious thing. It is a moment when one is not anymore thinking right

We are permited to indulge in going doolally crazy at times, only that it shouldnt get the better of us. Taking ones life unrighteously, is a temporary madness and/or doolally crazy, gone too far and unchecked. Only God knows, after taking in all the considertions, circumstances, facts etcetera what is seen as righteously taking ones life
