I really don't know why it is taking so long to confirm payment and issue ticket. I sum it to unnecessary bureaucracy and incompetence. It would have been better if they made the tickets available on their website and allow us to book directly like it's done for USA evacuees. I'll try to contact them again tomorrow.

Probably they are issuing the tickets on first come first serve basis. Since they have confirmed your payment you dont have any issues

That's the problem. To have the numbers we need, I would also process a permit as well from the Nigeria civil aviation or Nigeria foreign affairs, it's easy to get.

Please if there is anyone going to Cotonou anytime soon by august and knows his or her way around, please he or she should leave me a message so we can plan the trip together please.
