That means if an update didn't show on your update page you can't install it if you download it from another place.

No my first statement was about the Xiaomi.eu which is a custom ROM and had nothing to do with what you quoted.

I understand. Custom roms can only be flashed via twrp.

I'm talking about official roms now. Let's say Android 10 update showed up on my phone and I refuse to download it then it suddenly dissappears, if I download that same miui version from a browser, won't I be able to install it on the update page?

You can but sometimes if that update was rolled back it won't work.

For curved screens, UV tempered glasses are always the way to go if you want to retain the touch sensitivity plus want the FP to work. Using a phone with curved screen comes at a price especially if you want to use a tempered glass given the limited option.
Boss, right now, options are limited. Let me go with the one that is available first. This screen looks expensive grin grin

Yeah you should but if I were you i would still go ahead to order the UV glass now(delivery is the issue). The clarity of that gorgeous AMOLED display has to be maintained. Speaking from experience.

Long lasting battery, over 5000mah.

Good camera, may not be 108mp, but still better than most.

Okay thank you boss. I was skeptical about her because of the fact that no review from customers here. I'll give her a shot.

I initially brought his attention to it but got no response, maybe he is cool with it.

But I don't get why this independent sellers we go and find a way to bring in Indian variants despite the downside and sell at the same price as Global to make more profits.

genius43:

Not all Xiaomi's on Jumia are Global Versions some are Chinese Version with Global ROM slapped on top.

It is best you buy from accredited partners or sellers here who will sell to you Global versions and for Nairaland trusted sellers will tell you if what they are offering you is not Global Version and last but not the least if you have the mind buy the ones that is stated Global Version from AliExpress

The bolded parts are exactly my fears. I believe that there are ways for buyers to verify, but sadly not everyone knows this. When I'm ready to make a purchase, seller wey no gree me verify, make e forget. smiley
