Kiddwaya's father is wealthy obviously because of his association with politicians. No one really knew how he made his money, but past arrests have shown the possibility of fraudulence, especially money laundering.

Doctors can dabble into other businesses, but what other businesses can make one a billionaire in Nigeria if not politics, or association with politics.

There is a billionaire tailor in Nigeria, Alakija, but we all know that she made her money from her association with politics.

Same with the likes of others, including a former taxi driver.

There are no doubts that there are some really wealthy doctors in Nigeria, but claiming that there are thousands of billionaire doctors in Nigeria is an obvious exaggeration.

Someone said he knows of a professor who performs 200 million naira surgery every month. If he maintains that consistency, that is 2.4 billion annually. But considering that he is not going to be the only one in the theatre, it means all the 200 million are not his to keep.
