Good morning Beautiful people I got admission in international business to Red river college for winter 2021 session. My hubby and my godmother wants to pay for everything. Do you think Gift deeds from both of them would suffice for prof? I have about 5m I can access in my pension in additional. Will this help as pof? Kindly advice |

Hello, please refer to the link below https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/biometrics.html Biometrics collection outside Canada If the site closest to you is closed, we’ll automatically extend your deadline to give your biometrics. You don’t have to give your biometrics until the sites start offering collection services again. This applies to you, even if your biometrics instruction letter (BIL) says you have 30 or 90 days. You don’t have to contact us for this extension, and you don’t need a new BIL to make another appointment when sites reopen. Bring your original BIL to your new appointment to show proof of payment. Hope you find it useful Mzruffy: |

fratermathy: Hello Fratermathy, Very insightful post. It MAY not be advisable to send any supporting document after MR. and/or MEP., especially if it wasn't REQUESTED. Please, let's put some respect on the name of Village People. Bless Up Bro! 2 Likes |

Hello House. Good afternoon. I applied for my study permit on 30th of June. Status is: reviewing eligibility and background. I did upfront medical and also submitted my police report certificate. I have already paid full academic fees and submitted evidence. My LOE and SOP explained everything and SOP too. I have letters and documents to back up my application. No feedback from IRCC yet. Did anyone here apply the same date (30th of June) and what is their status please? I also do not need biometrics as I did 2017, i was rejected then because I did not submit enough documents to prove funds and no SOP and LOE( I have corrected that in this application) and it stated on my profile my biometric ID and validity is till May 23, 2027. This means I do not need biometrics for this application. My tuition is $21,000 CAD and I provided $41,000 CAD in my application and attached statement of account to back it up. I also have a registered IT company and I attached letter from my HR and my CAC document showing me as a director and CEO with sample projects. I am a programmer by profession and studied Electrical Engineering as first degree. I am going to Canada to study Petroleum Engineering and I explained the reason why I applied for it because my projects and software development combines both software development, electrical engineering and petroleum engineering. I have detailed list of projects that shows the connection and all. Would this be enough to get an approval? I need an expert advise. I just checked status and it's still on Reviewing eligibility and background checks. I have also attached the status from my IRCC profile. Thank you.

Folhu57: Hello Folhu57, Yes, you can. Dual intent is acceptable and recognized by IRCC and the VOs may assess both applications by applying discretion. Both are processed independently, which may be a good thing. And yes, there are few who have succeeded. In fact, now is the right time to apply for SP for Winter 2021 if you're considering the study route. All the best 1 Like |

MadamNesta: Hello MadamNesta, It may be advisable but Deed of Gift is more realistic for the EE route. For the study route, a Letter of Support or Co-sponsorship is well-suited. The intentions these letters conveys can sometimes be inconceivable. All the best 1 Like |

jayrouce: Hello Jayrouce, Based on the information supplied, the application seems very good, especially for an experienced applicant (reapplication). Be patient a bit, you will get a response. As it is, the Fall 2020 intakes are currently being attended to likewise few of Winter 2021 intakes. Ultimately, only the VO holds the answer to your question. All the best |

milo9: It depends on your stream to R10 and criminality checks. it will get to your turn. If I may ask, did you submit PCC? It may not be mandatory, but did you submit it? R10 they check your documents for completion etc. and determine that everything is in order and you have provided all the needed documents correctly. If you pass this stage it means, your documents were complete and as per requirements. PCC police clearance certificate Can you post your application documents, lemme check something. 1 Like |

Austacus: What's R10? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Taiwolus: 5:53pm On Aug 02, 2020 |
ptoall1000: Most programs at MUN will usually ask for Tuition > $12K. For perspective, more than half of Nigerian graduate students at MUN are paying $30K in tuition. The only programs with Tuition about $6,000 are research based programs, and I think the MBA program. Theses programs are usually very competitive, because of the obvious. |

fratermathy: It's a process in background checks. Read my previous post again to get the meaning |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by fratermathy(m): 6:00pm On Aug 02, 2020 |
Austacus: From what I gather about about it, it seems applicable to mainly Express Entry applicants. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Austacus: 6:05pm On Aug 02, 2020 |
fratermathy: I don't think it only applies for an express entry that's why I said PCC might not be compulsory but all applications ain't treated the same. You can as well, order for your GCMS notes and see your R10 check With that, it will be clear to you. |
