I agree with the riff raffs part but i was mostly referring to campus cultists.

In my experience, the hiphop genre can definitely fuel the desire to join cults.

Hiphop is protest music and creates a spirit of rebellion plus longing to belong to a gang.

Imagine if your favourite rapper is a blood or crip or BD or GD or whatever, subconsciously this would create an allure for you and the closest outlet in Naija is belonging to a cult.

I wonder if anything good thing can come out of rap music.

Check the content of all your favourite rappers. Drugs, murder, mayhem, gangsterism, etc. For every woke song they sing, they have sang thousands of other destructive songs. Most times the woke songs are not even as popular as the deviant ones

Infact i dare say that an average rap song typifies the daily life of a cultist. The more you vibe to and listen to such songs, the more your morality lines are blured.
