I was telling people that once NCDC hit the 20k discharge the high numbers which was more than the new cases will reduce, ok watch out for when our Total cases will hit 50k, the number of discharged will be raised to try to hit 25k, once we hit it then, it will stop again.

as u all can see Lagos is the coronavirus of Nigeria, how can you have 12k active cases out of 15k total case? Lagos should better wise up, they are giving Nigeria a bad name every other african countries with small number of cases has almost all there cases discharged.

Lagos has only about 2k cases....most of the cases recovered at home and were not discharged....that's why it is not recorded.....check @ProfAkinAbayomi twitter page to clarify....

Now I can strongly believe these results are not real. Since Friday I did this covid 19 test and up till now I have not gotten any result but they have already published Friday result and beyond. Where are the results coming from? This is four days now and still no result yet but they have already published results for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I have called them severally to ask for my result but they keep busying my calls and i sent text too but nobody replied. I tire for this country o.
I did the test because I want to know my status before I travel to be with my family.

Even though the figures maynot represent the true picture,the numbers reported are for the particular days the results came out.
So if by say Thursday this week your result comes out they may include it in Thursday's figures and so on.
Though it's also a fact the figures are being manipulated.

i think the only reason it's reducing is because just a total of 1k was tested. if 3-4k is tested, the figures would still be about what we usually have (between 600 and 700)

While this is true, I disagree.

Limited testing means mostly people displaying symptoms are tested. So in Nigeria's case %tested is just an artifact, not a valid data point.

Hospitalisations with Covid is a better metric.

yes then why not Forcefully test them ad discharge them? of you check the budget of Lagos,. you will be disappointed with the amount you will hear is being spent on patients Ani is Lagos the only state that the identified cases refused to be treated in COvid 19 centre? so let's not be deceived.
