Hi, I agree with @Kekerekun et al that the immigration waka has become uncertain recently. Especially since FSW all category invitations trend of recent has become "surprise surprise".
If you however carefully study the candidates distribution in the pool, you will notice that whence two/three consecutive FSW all category invitation happens, 470/471 should get invited.
On the other you sud explore all avenues available to you and your spouse to increase your score hence increasing your chances. You and/or hubby can rewrite IELTS & prepare better (go for tutorials if u must). Evaluate his credentials if you didn't.
Unaccompanying spouse sud be a last resort I think, the huge strain the distance can inevitably place on a marriage sud be seriously considered however promising the hope of a better life in canada is.
Cheers Ma

Hi Everyone,

As a couple we are currently on 471. But with the spouse unaccompanied it’s 478.

Advice on whether on not to go ahead with spouse unaccompanied, considering the present situation.

nothing is certain

Yes so is the spousal visa processing.

I am in the same boat and I wouldn’t advise anyone to do something in a haste.

Nevertheless she can do spouse unaccompanied and if she gets ITA with draw score of 469-471 she can go further and include her spouse after ITA.

I will just advise for Patience cos imagine if she gets iTA with 478 and few draws later scores drop to say 465 meanwhile file goes to AVO, some people with the 465 may get PPR earlier than even the 478.

So this journey, monitor, research and have a lot of Patience cos 471 is a pretty great score Cos I know many people wishing to have Such score.

Hello guys, QQ:

If the reference letter provided by the bank includes:

- account number
- date account was opened
- current balance of account
- average balance for the past 6 months
- no debts and funds are readily available to me.

If there a need to attach a 6 months bank statement?

Hi, even if spouse max out, it is still 20 points unless you mean spouse getting 8,7,7,7, then it's fine. But if it's to get a clb 10? Nah, he can't add more than 20points for IELTS.
Cheers

No, it was never stated that this was a necessity. However, most people include statements. If you want to, go ahead and include the statement, especially if it makes you sleep better at night. A few stories on here involve ADRs for statements but I have never come across a refusal based solely on an omission of statements (something that wasn't asked for in the first place).

there is a travel ban in place by Canada. Copr issued after march 18 cannot come in. So technically they cannot issue ppr till the ban is lifted. They recently extended the ban till August ending. But many files have been concluded as seen on gcms notes and webform enquiries. But they have not received PPR email.

Most Nigerian banks wont state 6 months average balance that so people resort to 6 months statement as an alternative. Not a requirement from IRCC. IRCC too can request for bank statements via adr as they please.

Quick question please. For a single person, is my PoF(12,960 CAD) meant to be plus processing fee(1,325 CAD) equals 14,285 CAD or the expectation is for me to have 12,960CAD and then pay the 1,325 CAD from it?

You should have your POF at the time you're landing in Canada. This implies that processing fee is not included.

Okay. Thanks. So at the point of spooling bank statement, it should be such 1325 CAD in excess of PoF?

YES
I'm just saying it should exceed the required 12369CAD kus of Dollar rate. Make your POF 13000 to be on a safer side
