Oh! I didn't know they actually know there's something called child authorities and social services. So they know and they haven't passed laws that forbids having underaged as househelps.Chikd labor, out of school children and death sentence for child rapists. Compulsory family planning so parents won't pour out their frustration on their kids. Has she spoken up all these while on what they are doing to protect the Nigerian child? You know how things are in the UK but will never replicate it in Nigeria. 3 Likes |

voltront: It was an attention-seeking stunt that paid off... She knew exactly what she was doing. I doubt she even wanted or planned to lay a finger on that child. The woman manipulated both the child and the gullible public including a whole unintelligent state governor. Smh. 1 Like |

I found the video rather ridiculous that the woman was now recording the poor boy. It's sickening how people found it funny rather than castigate the woman for recording him. Fine, it's okay if you beat him little bit to dissuade him from being stubborn, but going ahead to record him and subsequently uploading it for the whole world to see is sickening. How could you do that to your own son? Pitiful! And Lauretta comparing UK with Nigeria when it comes to discipline children is ridiculous. This woman, like the other doofus in Buharis government, should have their head checked. Bunch of dimwits. 1 Like |

Some of you are sick seriously. You called that child abuse? How did she abuse the boy? Spare the rod and spoil the child. No wonder we have generation of idiots, who cannot differentiate between what is right and good. Am sure we all listen to what that woman was saying in the video. The young chaps took something which he wasn't supposed to take in the first place and the mother decided to punish him. If he was to be left alone without corrections and maybe spank him, he will definitely think that's a way of life and has he grows he begins to take things that doesn't belong to him. At that age talking to him alone cannot and will never do the job. Spanking atimes must be added so he would know there is punishment for every offence. So I do not subscribe to this don't spank a child principle coz that is one reason why there is so many immoralities in our world today. 1 Like |

I strongly agree with Onochie. I was equally distressed for days after watching that video. Making a child beg that way is a no no for me. 4 Likes |

It’s a pure child abuse and the woman could have lost his custody and charged if it happened in a civilized society Anyway she should apply for a visa to test her popularity, let’s see if she is going to get it You must discipline your child but don’t post the video It’s very sad that 75% of people on this thread are educated-illiterate and that is why most Nigerian youths are not employable 4 Likes |

Flier: have you defecated your brain? so a child should be pampered for doing wrong. this is not UK or us. there are certain traits u must caution in a child, else it will metamorphose into something else when they mature. you can go ahead and pamper yours when they go wrong. |
