Yea it wuz, medical was requested. It was an online application. I did the biometrics late March also. It was when the measures to curb the covid 19 pandemic started. Profile was eligibility and background check in progress for a while.

Thanks sir/ma I really appreciate, pls how can I know school that there postgraduate diploma/C form r out ?
And I want to change my course from Chemistry, cos I study chemistry @undergraduate to business adminstration is that possible?

It’s possible I studied biochemistry but am going for PGD in business administration but you have a lot of convincing to do. Mine was alil easier Cos my current work is in the Area of business so I was able to use that to show career progression.if your not working in line with anything that has to do with business then you really need to convince the VO beyond reasonable doubt your reason behind the switch. Failure to do so may lead to study permit refusal.

I really don’t still get why agents would be hoarding someone’s personal details like it don’t make any sense

For those facing this issue, I think you may be able to bypass your agent to know your application status. I have seen people open a new account and link previous application. To do this, you will need UCI and or application number. So, if your agent gave you this, maybe for medical request or biometric invite, try and see if you can link it to a new GCKey.

All the best.

Some universities have started while some would begin in September, it’s advisable to apply early.

It is advisable to follow the guideline for application. There is a high chance that you won’t get admission if you need a supervisor, didn’t get one, but applied early. So, It is better to follow the guideline, which may include early application.

All the best.

Hello house, I am currently in my final year but I want to start the application process to graduate school for fall 2021 intake.
Due to the pandemic, I may not have some required documents before application deadline, is it still advisable to start the process?

I will advise you to finish your program, graduate, and start a day after your graduation. You have a better chance before or during National service. Worrying about stage 2 without completing stage 1 may lead to failure in both. You are lucky to know this opportunity exist, but don’t let it distract you.

I did my medicals today at IOM. I wasn't given any slip apart from the checklist which I used to do the tests. I asked but was told to go. Is this normal? When should I expect their upload?

Hello Chief,
U seem a bit confused about this IELTS of a thing, cos u have asked this question about IELTS more than twice

Note this:
If u av done IELTS before and u av the required score (bands) the school require it, u can use it to apply for admission.

And IELTS result is only valid for 2-years.

But if admission is the reason u want to do it, don't bother urself,
U don't need IELTS for admission purpose cos u come from an English Speaking Country (Nigeria),
so even if you see it in an admission requirement of a sch. or program, u are EXEMPTED
.

IELTS requirement for admission purpose are meant for countries whose official language is not English
E.g India, China, Philippines. Vietnam etc
.

Its only if u are interested in applying for Permanent Residency (PR) after ur studies that it's highly required of u to do IELTS

This is nothing secret or hard. It is similar to linking a paper application online. Just open a GC account and link your existing application to it. I believe we already have a post on how to link and check for updates on paper application online. You can try that and let’s know the outcome. All the best.

Thanks bro for your simple breakdown I have already even paid for IELTS since March but due to this covid-19 ish I haven't been able to write the exam guess I would proceed with the application to different schools. In other words the IELTS is wasted be that cause it's only valid for 2 years and man wan do PR after school. Besides bro I studied Agricultural extension & management HND which means I'm going for PGD or PGC I've been checking cheap colleges for this course but couldn't find one. Please anyone with vast experience which course and cheap college would suit me to apply for that would match my undergraduate course and I've been working in the same field for 10 years now. I want to apply for may intake 2021 that's spring. I need help y'all. God bless

Please, is it advisable I go for my ielts exam with just the photocopy of my passport as the hard copy is in use.

It's urgent please

Not possible.

The passport is your major identification in writing the exam. As a matter of fact you would only enter the exam hall with your passport and pencils only. Nothing more

Thank you.

You should not worry, upload is about 48-72 hours

That's alright then.

The rush to the UK is something else entirely. We had very few persons at the Canadian segment of IOM. Many people have either changed destination or moved their plans because of the covid-19 situation.

Someone should help me. I have been a guest user of this thread and did my medicals today at IOM.

The nurse and doctor said my BP was very high. Although I didn't see the figure but they were visibly concerned. The doctor asked and I told her that my father is managing BP too. She said it may be a family thing. I wasn't referred to a cardiologist or asked to do any further test. I completed the medical exam. The doctor only told me to go to any hospital later on so that I can get the BP checked and managed.

My question now is: will this high BP affect the study permit approval? (The medical was requested, not upfront). Has anyone experienced something like this before?

This was the exact response they sent to several applicants after raising a CSE to Kenya immigration office. At this point, Its highly advisable that you should exercise a little more patience on sending them a message again. Your application has been received by IRCC and currently in process. More importantly, however, the delay is normal as almost every applicant on this thread are waiting for a decision to be reached on their respective applications.

FYI - attached is the official email address of Kenya, Visa Office nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca, should you want to contact them in advance.

Congratulations on completing your medicals. Please be advised that High BP will not have any negative impact on your application. I would strongly say you shouldn't be troubled about it. I'm of high optimism that you will pass your medicals as its not a serious illness/virus in the likes of HIV/Syphilis/Hepatitis B, C or D that could pose to be a danger to Canadians should your visa is granted.

Keep the hope alive and follow the instructions of the physician by consulting other hospitals for proper medical check ups.

Good day Guru's in the house,
I graduated from OAU, Civil Engineering department, 2014 set with 2'2, i'm Coren registered with 6yrs working experience.

Am in process of applying to one of the colleges in Canada for Project Management Program, but the agent keep telling me my age is on the high side (34yrs) that it may affect my Visa approval. Can dis be true?

Also, I will appreciate any suggestions of schools with low tuition that offers PMP

Please kindly advise me on how I can go about it.
