C'est la vie. I like him as well and followed him right from when he was still a young teenager with Roshaun, TFM, Callum Gribbin, Rashford, McTominay e.t.c but we have kept injury prone players for too long in recent years.
If he is blocking the path of a younger talented player who will at least stay fit we should get rid.

The salaries i quoted are all before tax. Rashford and Martial will also pay tax on their salaries.

I am sure Woodward is not unfortunate enough to pay Rashford 200k, Martial 250k, and then pay Sancho 308k.

It is actually very bad. It will send the wrong message to the established players and make future contract negotiations difficult, apart from making it difficult to move Sancho if the unthinkable happens and he flops. He is unproven in the EPL.

That salary in pounds is about 308k/week. Currently no1 is DDG with 375k, then Pogba with 290k, then Martial 250k, Rashford 200k.
