Dybala have beaten Juventus team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo to Italian Serie A Player of the Year. The Argentine forward bounced back from a disappointing 2018-2019 season to score 11 goals and record another 11 assists which helped the Old Ladies to their ninth successive Scudetto in 2019-2020.

Lega Serie A announced Paulo Dybala as the winner of the annual prize on Tuesday, with Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo failing to retain the most valuable player title he won in his first year at the Allianz Stadium. Atalanta Papu Gomez won the best midfielder award for his sterling performance for free scoring Atalanta in 2019-20 season. His 7 goals and 16 assists helped Atalanta to another UCL qualification spot.


The best forward goes to Ciro Immobile whose 36 goals ensures he won the Capocannoniere and the European Golden Shoe.

Cristiano Ronaldo will look to put this aside as Juventus look to overturn a first leg defeat against Lyon in the Uefa Champions League.

well deserved by dybala and am happy italian league got it right this time because i thought they would give cr7 the award to make him happy and also because of business sense knowing that he brings a lot of revenue to the seria a..
dybala also won the league and am happy he won it because if you follow juve matches, you would notice that juve and cr7 seems to suffer when dybala isnt playing or not on form...
i heard cr7 seeked for new challenge in Italy and with the way things are going, it seems the new challenge is getting interesting..

yes...he was more decisive in juve team than cr7..jus like I said earlier...if dybala isnt playing both cr7 and juve seems to struggle...he is the oil that keeps the juve machine going..

Well deserved.... I guess the pampering CR7 do receive in seria A is over!! Last season he wasn't the best but was awarded the best player in seria A as thanks for coming....!! Cr7 outscored Dybala this season, but Dybala was partially/directly involved in most of the goals Juventus scored this season while mostly CR7 was busy doing the tapins (Nni e yego) and drinking his usual Penaltea....
