We are doing good cappo, back ache is showing face, probably because of my kind of work as it sometimes requires standing, been having pain on my right ankle and swelling due to a previous fracture from an accident.
Baby kicks is out of this world, daughter is always happy when she feels the kick, it's a delight to watch her giggle.

This is what my hospital gave me.

I have been a silent follower for months now , and here is my first post on the thread


During my first trimester, i had malaria which i didn't treat on time cos i didn't even know i had Malaria, when i tell few people around me about how i feel, they kept saying its part of the package

Until i nearly fainted one morning, i had to drag myself to the hospital, where i was diagnosed with malaria ++ then i started my treatment which lasted for about 2 weeks, it wasnt funny

Morning sickness dealt with me, from vomitting to food aversion to tiredness, l was loosing weight and I just couldn't understand how women give birth to 4,5 or more children with all this pain and stress

The story i read here has kept me going, the advice and all, i keep telling myself if these women can do it, i have hope.. Thank you for telling your stories

When i did my first scan, i discovered i had multiple fibroid with the baby about 5 of them

Then came fibroid degeneration, i have had it twice now, the pain cannot be explained, oh my Gawd, i was on codein and duphaston, at a point codein wasnt working again, but thank God it finally went

I was wondering why my own pregnancy was this difficult when i read people testimonial here, but in all i thank God for counting me worthy to be a mother

I got pregnant 2 month after my wedding without any hassle

Second trimester is better than the first, i am getting better, but appetite has not improved

EDD is december 27th

19 weeks gone now, my tummy looks like that of 34 weeks pregnant woman, i am confident it ll end in praise

Yea Mrukk explained the contradiction. I had my first in the US and I was only told to keep the place dry, and that's what the picture you uploaded says..the cord fell off by the 3rd day.

Mama, abeg try shop ni ooo. I'm done with mine, thanks to my mom and hubby. The way my body is doing me, I am praying to port to August ni. The fatigue, abi na the backache or the GERD abi the frequent peeing or the night vigilante after peeing say 2-3am, no sleep again till morning. I can categorically say that I am tired! The waddling and feet swelling na normal things ni. Plus the kain punches this babe dey dash me eh, it's well! I just cant wait to offload. God will make it easy for all of us expectant mothers. Amen!

BS: Long story alert!

I started losing my mucus plug few days before my 39 weeks appointment and on my 39wk appointment day my Dr did a Membrane Sweep and said I was 2cm dilated already.
So around 2am the next day sunday I woke up with a strong period like pain and I saw show (mucus stained with blood) after wiping. The pain started coming at irregular intervals for a while but around 7 am the contraction started lasting for like 35 sec or more and interval to like 15mins aparts or less sef. My MIL wanted us to stay a little longer till like 12 noon and gave ewedu to drink as usual but while drinking I had another contraction and that was it! My husband insisted we left right away and we did.
By the time the Dr checked me at the hospital I was already 7cm dilated wow, d dilation progresssed so fast that we thought I would give birth before noon sef but God had his plans. I was prepped for delivery and oh lord the pains were excruciating. As a FTM the nurses were praising me for enduring or whatever but my mind was not settled at all with the crazy contactions I just tried as much as possible to breathe with my mouth as instructed by the nurses which helped till they passed one drip like that and men my head wanted to burst. Chaii you can never be prepared for labour o. I screamed, wailed, prayed called on my mom to come.

Apparently I stopped dilating at 9cm cos my baby's head didn't descend completely for me to push and I was in pains for hours and started begging for CS. A call was put through to my OBS to come right away and after checking me he was like we can wait for some hours and see if my baby's head will eventually come down but after almost 2hrs I was on 9.5cm he could see the head and just above the cervix or something I lost interest in all that and I started screaming for my husband "Ife MI come and sign consent form!!! I want to see my baby. He came to kiss me and said he already signed cos the pain was out of this world.. I was prepped for the surgery which to me took hours I shouted on the nurses to hurry and stop dragging there feet when I knew they weren't actually. They were just running everywhere almost confused as I was screaming lol I showed them pepper, I told my Dr I hated him for coming late. In all I give thanks to Allah, my surgery lasted for 60mins, baby girl was brought out healthy weighing 3.6kg. I'm presently recovering fast and will be home tomorrow In Shaa Allah. All I can say is Alihamudulilai, I planned to have VD but had emergency CS. Baby is fine and daddy is just shinning teeth everywhere I wish the remaining mama's safe delivery.
