I think it's high time the state government start rearresting these so called "repentant terrorists" being freed by d FG and charge prosecute them according to state laws. If not communities may start taking notes of their abodes to render their own version of Justice.

I said the same thing when I saw the video. I observed that the governor's convoy was not being shot at directly but to stop them from proceeding on their mission to Baga town which is unlike Bokoharam occupation.

I think two things may be responsible for this:
1. May be as rumoured, Baga town as been seeded to Bokoharam Republic and Nigeria Army has to do everything within their means to stóp Mr Governor from his journey of no return. Or

2. May be Nigeria Army on ground at Baga Town were unprepared and can not guarantee the security of Mr Zulum at that material point in time.

I have a question to ask, why do the north always support anything bad and prevent people from saying the truth when it is clear that their parents, sisters, fathers, children are the main victim of terrorism? There are some northerners and some military personnel sabotaging the effort of the clueless gvt and this is what you could say?

This is not a family affair that should be kept secret, people are dying, children are becoming orphans in their own land daily...

If not for the humanity in me I would have encourage the South to keep quite and watch because it is none of Southern business, terrorism in the north us like family issue that must not be blown in public.

I was expecting you to say, those people fueling the insurgence should be revealed but opposite is the case, there must be something I don't understand about the entire populace in the north.

What is your belief, I would like to hear you out maybe I would understand you better...

I live a peaceful life but seeing news like this doesn't make me happy... Does it make you happy?

You don't want him to speak up... What is wrong with the way northerners think?

There must be a reason why you want him to keep shut when it is obvious people in Borno are being massacred daily.

Please enlighten me

So heart breaking.
not all northerners please, say northern muslims, we the northern christians are against this.

Well said ..but i think it will not be difficult for the USA because they will not be Compromised in the first place

The US military and allied forces haven't been able to quell the unrest in the middle East for over a decade now. They are currently negotiating with the Taliban and other groups.

Some soldiers in Nigerian Army have become enemies of peace and humanity, maybe due to their personal gains from the insurgency. It's actually too embarrassing.
What do you expect?when the so called President have recruited virtually all the members of Boko Haram into the NA in the name of repented Boko Haram.
The ant that is biting them lives right inside their pockets.yeye politicians.
Kudos to Gov Zulum

Please, can anyone interpret what the governor meant by:
“It is a complete sabotage… I cannot end my interview without clearly stating what happened yesterday. As far as I am concerned, there was no Boko Haram yesterday (Wednesday). It was a serious shooting by the Nigerian armed forces while ‘residing’ in Baga. The situation is very embarrassing.”
Is he trying to say it was the army that opened fire on his convoy and did he not inform the military hierarchy before driving into the dangerous territory? Or is the governor just seeking attention?

The same point I made in my first comment; that there are lots of things working in favor of the BH and the compromised NA is one of such. I also said that the US army could reduce it to the barest minimum but can't completely exterminate them, as observed in the Middle-East. We are saying the same thing sir.

if they kill civilians n soldiers they are terrorists, if they killed in the Kaduna n environment they are herdsmen, now they should kill you they are soldiers, oga anyhow u want to shade it, it's still boko Haram u didn't defeat nothing n offcourse we know both up northerners, soldiers and bh know themselves n they are one exchanging activities. my point is tell ur chief of bh as long as they're repented bh. they are also repented mutiny (accused) soldiers, release them too. Stop fooling ur age n yourselves.

Negotiating with terrorists is the worst mistake you would do.

The U.S military has cut a deal with the Taliban after decades of unending guerilla warfare. Trust me, they did their calculation and saw it wasn't a conventional war wherein the battle lines are clearly drawn. In a guerrilla war, there are no winners nor losers, the war just rages. The NA can't exterminate the BH even in the next 3 decades, bookmark this.

So Chad military na ghosts? You have over 150k soldiers in Nigeria who are struggling with boko and Chad with less than 50k dey deal with boko like child's play

You are missing the point sir. It is not by numbers nor tactics, it is simply not a conventional war where the two sides are clearly demarcated, coupled with the fact that the NA is apparently compromised (infiltrated I dare to say). The Chadians may have had it easy because the BH hasn't prioritized Chad as the chief enemy. I make bold to further state that even if you move the entire Chadian army over to the Nigerian front, it will make little or no difference. The reason is simply; the BH is fighting the Guerilla style. Think of the situation as "the enemy within" kind of set-up. You can't tell who is BH and who is not, neither can you tell where they are and where they are not. They have "sleepers" all around. It is a frustrating war sir.

Thank you for been so kind to tell us the truth. People have been saying it that boko haram is a faction of the military yet we don't believe.

Ex soldiers has been arrested and freed, they wear our military uniform, bubu is sympathetic to them.

So now gov Zulum has exposed it. I dare the military to refute it.
