Don't blame your phone too much, do the following regularly after heavy usage
1. Clear Junk files
2. Too many apps opening can cause this, always close some apps when not in use, especially heavy ones
3. Restart your phone every day/2 days. It helps the device to normalize

To my Ogas in the house, hope am on point!

Thanks bro, all these have done and even restricted almost all my apps.

Do you think I've got a defective device? Have used note 4/5/nd 7. I didn't encountered double issues like this

Purchased Xiaomi Note 10 Lite 6GB/128GB from seller nurex01 today.

My thoughts:
Excellent businessman
Patient seller
Well-mannered and jovial
He even suggested escrow when I exercised doubts

I enjoyed doing business with him

Change your network.

And screenshot your app battery usage

Switched network From Airtel to MTN, still same thing.
Find attached

NB: I charged to 100% yesterday around 6pm. No heavy usage and no gaming.
10:31am this morning, have got just 34% left

Change your network if you want to avoid battery drain. Port away from that network asap.

Or change your location

Hi fam, I've been using my note 9s for a while and I complained some weeks back on how hot the device becomes and it doesn't last a day.
Some great fellows here recommended I force restart and reset device if it persists. This is I did and the phone came back to nomalcy but it stayed normal for a day or 2 before going back to the same issue. Having done 2 updates ( 11.0.9 and 11.0.10) and 2 reset. overheating stopped but battery drain is still massive (lose about 30% under light usage, just social media though on 4G )

Do you think, I've got a defective device in my hands as I intend to go to the outlet I got it from and request for a swap, upgrade or refund (I know this might not b possible)

Phone is just 20days old. I need your sincere opinion and advise on how to go about this.

Thank you all
If you bought with warranty (better from a licensed shop) they will first check & service the phone, that i suggest you should do. If they can't fix it, they'll be the one to ask you to take another or upgrade if you can afford it. I said so because it is better they check it themselves & see its a production fault & fix it, if its not a fault with the phone they will tell you.

I've never seen this happen for a fact in 9ja tho.

Sincerely, I think the battery is doing just fine considering the conditions. You've obviously used power hungry apps (Instagram and Facebook), it doesn't necessarily have to be gaming. Can you also post your SOT?

I'm using RN8, and it's running on Android 10 and MIUI 12

Official or CUSTOM ROM?
Even Chinese Version/ROM are still on beta testing.

I'm on android 9 but I'm sure there's a lot of difference that with android 10. You might not haved noted because you use less of the phone
If you're both on the same Miui version, trust me, you'll hardly see the differences.

I still reiterate that there is absolutely nothing wrong with your phone. From your network chart it tells it all.

The pros and cons of any phone depends on what you need for a smart phone.

If you are buying a smartphone, buy locally.

AliExpress shipping currently is for the strong hearted, first you struggle to get a bank to work with AliExpress then you are stuck with stores offering on DHL method of shipping though fast 3weeks-1month but with high chances of paying customs duty which is not fixed. Or you choose AliExpress standard shipping and you start praying for your item to get here in 3 months time, probably by then the phone you ordered will be two generations old.

I just noticed today after updating my phone to 11.0.5 from 11.0.4, that I can only download a new theme except I change my region to India from Nigeria.
Also, I turned on the high contrast button in the accessibility settings out of curiosity to see how it will affect my phone screen colour product, now it is as if the colour has a deep green colour contrast, I quickly turned it off but those abnormal colours still lingers and it has made a picture of green leaf and red flower I took yesterday to look somehow unattractive. How can I return my phone to its normal colour production, I will never toggle with what I don't understand again in my phone?

Just continue using your phone it will normalise.

Another toggle that messes up with your phone is turning MIUI optimization off

Do as you've been instructed above. Just click on the "screen" in the battery usage stat you uploaded earlier

That one na no go area na, it is like telling your OS to remove en hand from your phone, na you go still suffer the instability that will accompany it.

I just discovered the culprit to that colour problem, I toggled on the colour correction in accessibility settings, everything is back to normal now.
