Good morning team. Great job you're doing to update other members of the team.
Please I just got this update.

Hello,
While the COVID-19 pandemic has presented a number of challenges world-wide, Canada’s
whole-of-government approach is aimed at protecting the health of Canadians while minimizing
the economic and social impact of restrictions. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
has implemented a temporary two-stage process to provide an update to international students
who have not yet been able to provide all the required documents or information needed to have
their application fully assessed in time for the fall semester.
You are receiving this notification as an officer has reviewed the information and documents you
provided to support your study permit application. Based on this preliminary eligibility
assessment, your application has advanced to the next stage of processing.
Additional information and documentation may be required in order to continue processing your
application. If we previously requested that you complete biometrics and/or a medical
examination and submit a police certificate, please do so as soon as you are able to. If you have
not received a request from us for additional information or documents, please await further
instructions.
Once we have received all requested information and documents, we will complete our
assessment of your application and we will inform you of the final decision (approved or
refused) made on your application.
While you await a final decision on your application you may commence your studies online.
If you are a representative who has received this notification, please ensure to advise your
client(s) of this important information.
Thank you,
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

Would like to find out what it means?
I didn't do an upfront medical.

I also forgot to attach my police report. How can I access the webform please?
Thank you all. Would appreciate your response
Congratulations this is approval in principle

AIPs are trickling in now. I wonder if they intend to give all applicants an AIP. How will they notify applicants if their applications do no move past the first stage? Will they make them wait till after biometrics?

hi good day, i applied for my canadian student visa in february 18th and got my bvl in march 5th and i got a mail last week tuesday that my decision envelope is at the vac in lagos. is it rejected at this period in time or it is pre-approval as said for fall applicants? someone help please.

Well mine was almost like this, but after getting the mail "that my decision envelope was at the vac", I got another mail from ircc with the supposed decision made not immediately though. It was paper route also.

Hello Heltinking,

Going for a 2 year program may be more convenient than a 1 year program. Though both have their own advantage and limitation. Experience gained while on a study permit don't count as a Canadian Experience especially if you aim for PR.

All the best
False information bro. PGWP experience counts as Canadian Experience

Hello house.
I gained admission to study MPH in university of alberta for fall 2020. Thou they sent a mail that classes will be online.
Is it too late to apply for study permit. My mum is going to be my sponsor. Should she sent the money to my account, will it affect my application since it is going to be a lump sum. Pls wat is the next step I av to take? And documents to provide for the application. For the proof of funds, is it 1year fee and 10000 cad or more? Thank you
what’s the total amount estimated on your admission offer letter?

Good day all, I’ve been a silent follower and I must say the wealth of information provided here has been very helpful. I intend to apply for an MBA for next fall semester. Does anyone know any good GMAT study center in Abuja? I do not want to self study because I have taken the exam a few years back and it is not beans. I will be applying to other programs as well for a possible funding so I’m targeting a very high score above 650. I really need a good tutor. Your recommendations will be highly appreciated. Thanks
