I don't know your reason(s) for typing this sha but I'll be the least perturbed person if truly they've shortlisted. Scholarship award is 50:50, it's either you're given or not. There are lots of other opportunities so it's not like someone is putting all his eggs in one basket.

But then one needs to be sure of a particular situation and move on. If NNPC/TOTAL that awarded 402 students could be publicly made known, is it SPDC that awards 4000 candidates that will be secretive? That you won't see even a single thread here on nairaland about the award? That you won't even hear of any student from any institution who will confirm it? Habah, Oga when they're not ghost! I can see you really underrate the power of social media. 4000 scholarships will be awarded and people won't know about it! Okay.

Well, that's a nice point. But none has even given the scholarship in the first place. It's just an application and it's not written in any eligibility conditions of the two scholarship schemes that someone who has APPLIED for one shouldn't APPLY for the other. The two are more like options to me now. If A doesn't work. B might work.

Please someone should give his/her view. Nursing is a 5years course but on jamb admission letter, 4years is been written. Applying for NNPC/SNEPCO,should I go for a 5years or a 4years as stated on jamb?

Scholastica is not for Snepco only... It's for many scholarships so those other documents requested are not necessarily for Snepco...
Even NYSC certificate is included in the dop down. So it's entirely for other purpose nor snepco. SNEPCo ain't for DE.

You are not confused. You were only told the truth and that's not what you want to hear. If you are so concerned about the 'A level' part that you did not even see where you were told to visit 'scholastica' for application, if what you note is just 'A level' and you ignore where it is stated that 100l result is a criterion for eligibility, then no one will ask you not to apply since you're really desperate to. The truth still remains that 'you might apply' but you won't be shortlisted if you did not completely meet the scholarship criteria.
