Good afternoon elders, My TB certificate will expire on the 19th of August while my biometrics appointment is 27th of August, can I still use it on do another TB test? Aslo, when trying to go to TLS homepage from Gov.uk to book appointment for one of my children I am getting this response "Application Creation Failed". I have tried several times but getting same response. Has anyone experienced this before and how can I rectify this error? Will patiently await your input. Thanks |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by famzynet: 1:33pm On Aug 06, 2020 |
idolda:I am not very sure if an expired TB will be considered. But I was told on this forum that one can be allowed to travel after it expires provided visa is issued. A suggestion will be you going to TLS ASAP and pay for flexi appointment. I think that should be around 42k unlike 58k required to do another TB certificate. At least 16k will be saved. But who knows . Maybe an expired one may be considered if not far from the date considering the lockdown. Anything is possible. But my police certificate expired and people adviced that I get another one. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by mosesolawuyi: 1:54pm On Aug 06, 2020 |
Bembe081: Yes, I booked for two people at Ikeja today around 11 am after waiting for two days. You just have to keep checking. TLS make a few slots available at a time. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Cyberknight: 1:57pm On Aug 06, 2020 |
Bembe081: It is frustrating, my wife just went through the same annoying procedure, but keep checking their page, because they release the appointments every day. Especially between roughly 8 and 11 am and from 6 to 8 p.m., that is when you are most likely to get a date. TLS has no known phone number, unfortunately, never seen any indicated anywhere. 1 Like 1 Share |

Foriletirestore: Did you apply for a visa to attend an event which has passed or cancelled? If you did, that could explain it. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by FYsol: 3:09pm On Aug 06, 2020 |
Quickly write them. It is either you are approved and they mistakenly missed placing the sticker or you were refused they missed putting the refusal paper. I can only feel your nostalgia flipping from joy when you touched the nylon containing the passport and didn't feel any refusal paper to when you flipped through the pages of your passport and didn't see any visa. Just keep up hope. I'm positive it is an approval with missed vignette. Write them ASAP. Foriletirestore: 1 Like |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by ss2020: 7:37pm On Aug 06, 2020 |
patdman:Is yours standard business visit visa? I did biometrics on march18th and mine is still in "application received by DMC". I was to go for training and the time has now passed. So probably they expect us to reschedule the training date. I won't be surprised if they send a mail asking for new LOI reflecting a new training date. This is my first application though |

Considering your age. His support will play little to no assistance at this point because the only visa you can apply for is a visitor visa and the decision will be based solely on your economic circumstances. Except if he can come down to Nigeria to marry you. ovieohene: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by famzynet: 12:22am On Aug 07, 2020 |
ovieohene:What you will need is a marriage visitor Visa. It's about £95 and expires after 6months. You will have to submit documents to prove long term relationship between two of you. Two of you will have to get married within 6months of being in the UK. He will have to show evidence that he can support you or you show evidence that you can support yourself financially. He must be a British citizen. |

nogamz: No you don't need a covid test when crossing over to cotonou by land but might need it when flying into cotonou to cross over to Nigeria by land |
