That crocodile is very sharp, immediately the guardian threw a small stone into the water, the crocodile speadily came out of the water.

Yeah, I know there are lots of crocs in Nigeria. Of course, I wouldn't be Nigerian if I didn't know that.

But I am talking about this particular species- the Nile Crocodile. I heard the farthest West it can be found occurring naturally is in Cameroon.

Honestly, no zoo should exist in Nigeria.

I am yet to see any decent zoo.

The one at OAU is one of the worst.

Hyenas are social animals, but in OAU, you have a hyena all alone by itself in its enclosure. That animal (if it is still there) will be depressed, no doubt about that.

If you can't keep animals, release them into the wild. They will do a better job of taking care of themselves than any Nigerian zoo can.

This place is dead, which few common animals we see from time to time, they ate d rear ssp & kept d head for us to view.no zoo is worth going in Nigeria unless they have elephants, zebras, giraffes, rhino, hippo, leopards, lions.

Our standards are terribly low in this country. Every facets of our lives have been bastardized. This has even made our people to start accepting low standards things as normal. Some uninformed persons have already started commenting " nice one".

I ask what is nice about the archaic and antiquity zoo shown in that place. Please take time and look at other people's zoos talk more of school of wildlife.
