While you'll be submitting your sponsorship letter, your dependant will need to submit his/her bank statement or yours showing that the money has been held for 28 days (in your account or his/her account) before their application. This is based on the assumption that your sponsorship doesn't include them since you didn't confirm that it does. To make it simpler for you, put the funds that they require into the account to be used, count 28 days from the day after the total required is in your account, and on the 29th day, submit your application. After submitting, print the statement for the 28 days before your application submission and upload to the document submission portal along with other documents. You can include the 29th day in your statement to avoid counting errors on your part. The Oanda rate for the day you submit will be used to convert your funds to £. Risazii: |

Anyone going to Huddersfield University? Meanwhile their tution is 14,500 pounds and they also have Nigerian scholarship of 4K pounds. Meaning you pay 10,500 for the course which is not bad. 2 Likes |

Femizi: In my personal opinion, you may wish to defer your admissions till next year. While waiting, you can also apply for some scholarships, such as Chevening, Commonwealth Shared, Erasmus Mundus (like IMSISS and MUDUSMAPP) and DAAD. If possible, you can also apply to some US schools. With your first class, relevant work experience, and strong letters of recommendations, you should be able to secure some funding. 2 Likes |

Femizi: Oh, okay. You can try next year though, probably try applying to top schools in the UK like Oxford, LSE, UCL, etc. These schools have better scholarship opportunities. It's sad to get admitted and not have complete funds to go but I'll suggest you use this period to research on more scholarship opportunities. 1 Like |

Gbeskey: Yes, you can, as duchess90 has confirmed. I did so with my GTBank statement. Here's the relevant extract from page 20 of the document at the link she cited: "If you wish to submit electronic bank statements from an online account, these must contain all of the details listed above. In addition, you will need to provide a supporting letter from your bank, on company headed paper, confirming the authenticity of the statements provided. Alternatively, an electronic bank statement bearing the official stamp of the bank in question will be accepted. This stamp should appear on every page of the statement". |
