eusuph99:To the best of my knowledge, scholarships for coursework studies are quite limited (compared to research). You will need to check the scholarship available at UniMelb itself that you qualify for as a starting point. The CoVID crisis also may also reduce scholarship options available generally. |

alao1981:Thanks for the reply. I've sent a mail to the school. Hopefully, they would get back to me. |

Hello NL. Great work here. Can someone help with the requirements for an undergraduate study in Australia? And which of the semesters are currently open? |

eusuph99: Hello, what were the requirements for application? Does this means you won't be doing any research or field work? How much is the total cost implication? |

Good day house. I applied for the University of Melbourne's Graduate Research Scholarship last year and I received a mail that I have been offered the scholarship. Meanwhile, I am yet to get the admission (which suppose to come along with the scholarship). I have completely filled all the necessary information required on the application portal except the acceptance letter from a supervisor --because of this the admission has been pending since October 2019 till date. I have sent many expression of interest to potential supervisors whose research works aligns with mine yet no positive response. My question is what method can I employ to get a supervisor for the MPHIlL Agricultural Sciences. Cc : university of Melbourne students here or previous applicants.. |

eusuph99: Do you mean 3 recommendation letters? Who did you get yours from? Lecturers? Local police station? |

When writing to potential supervisors let them know you already hold a scholarship, it might help. fatsonm: 1 Like |

fatsonm: Someone is trying to help and u are telling him he is using offensive words. Na wa o.... I didn't see anything offensive, even if he did why not focus on what you want. We all see why some ppl here try to stay in thier lane and mind thier business. Even here in Melbourne, many nigerians prefer to relate with others than with Nigerians. Good luck!!! 2 Likes |

I think some of you need to read this. Just be careful (Aussies are pretty racist): There's one big problem with Australia's skilled migration program: many employers don't want new migrants https://theconversation.com/amp/theres-one-big-problem-with-australias-skilled-migration-program-many-employers-dont-want-new-migrants-125569 It makes me wonder/worry how many people are wasting their time, like people who study in Asia and absolutely cannot get hired. |
