True. Just seen it after I finished posting. That shows signs of how hard it's gonna get competing for places in Genk's attack with two of his country men sure to make the matchday squads when fit/available. I hope Odey can get into subsequent squads but with Dessers around and Onuachu still rated, it's really gonna be tough. Time will tell. ChrisKels: 1 Like |

I've always rated Frenkie. Even mentioned some of his qualities long time ago on this thread when predicting Holland's resurgence in the near future which we are witnessing today. But Andy, e never do? Una don derail this thread tire. Na wa. andrewbaba44: 2 Likes 2 Shares |

andrewbaba44: Yea super Frankie has something in common with Nwakali, both are so comfortable on the ball, and they know how to easily pick the right passes. Frankie is what I envisage a fit Nwakali to be. I can't wait for the new laliga season |

I agree with this only on the common quality you speak of that both players posses which is Excellent composure on the ball. But now you may have triggered some folks. They will ignore this (@bolded) and say you are MAD for comparing Frenkie to Nwakali. Lol. ChrisKels: 4 Likes |

As in eh. It wasn't hard to tell at all. Once Dessers landed at Genk, I also knew Odey was in "Gametime" trouble. But I hope the coach can utilise Odey outwide. The boy has the pace and some qualities needed to function outwide as an attacking winger. At least so that he can see some gametime. Anyway, like I love to say, time will tell. andrewbaba44: 1 Like |

Samuel Kalu to Gala has been mentioned for a while but I don't think it will happen. Gala may not be able to afford him and Bordeaux may likely not take a loan option for Kalu. And like I said, many weeks back when it was first mentioned, Rohr advised against the move. He got in touch with Kalu. But time will tell. And yes, looking at how Napoli kept creating chances yesterday and their game play, Osimhen is gonna enjoy some quality service especially with Mertens and Insigne by his sides. Callejon is leaving. Napoli missed two big chances yesterday. They are a good and really dangerous side, always creating chances and getting shots on goal, and when they had opportunity to launch some balls into the Barca box, they had no one tall enough until they brought in Milik. Milik even scored from one of those balls but it was offside and correctly ruled out. Osimhen will enjoy that service but he will also work hard. andrewbaba44: 5 Likes 1 Share |

I hope so. But right now, he is their third choice striker. I really hope the coach can utilise him sometimes from the wings. It will make some sense and he got decent qualities to function from RW or LW and that will see him get some gametime at least. We go see shaa. andrewbaba44: 1 Like |

Neobulletzz: People mistake showboat for dribbling. Neymar showboats more than he dribbles. Hazard dribbles more than he showboats. I'm not surprised Hazard is ahead of him, just that the no 10 he is is quite shocking. Neymar is the player that would have an option to put the ball on the ground and dribble, but he will rather raise the ball up so he can showboat. There's a lot of difference there |

Nigeria defender Chidozie Awaziem has rejected a loan move to Turkish club Caykur Rizespor, Completesports.com reports. Awaziem spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Spanish club Leganes from Portuguese giants Porto. Leganes were relegated to the Segunda Division last season putting an end to the possibility of the versatile defender linking up with the Cucumber Growers on a permanent deal. The 23-year-old made 26 league appearances for Leganes. Awaziem spent the second half of the 2018/19 season on loan at Rizespor. According to reports in the Turkish media , he has declined to join Rizespor and is willing to listen offers from other clubs. He joined Porto from Nigeria Professional Football League club El-Kanemi Warriors in 2014. |

Beautiful decision. I understand that Rohr has told the lads that turkey should not be a destination for them if they really intend to compete in the Super Eagles. He insists their target destinations should be better quality leagues most especially the Top 5 leagues. And if outside the top 5, league must be top decent and quality like Portugal, Belgium, Holland/Netherlands. Especially for young players. Other youngsters even in the Scandinavian leagues now know they also have to work their ways into the top decent leagues to get more of Rohr's attention. Lads like Alhassan Yusuf, Bonke, and co. But ofcos any young Naija player still trying to come up and gain some top-flight experience can use Turkey as a cop-out but after a while he should do his best to leave (like Paul Makairu is pushing to). Awaziem's case is different in that he has tasted Top flight football in the Portuguese Primeira Liga NOS (sparingly), Ligue 1 (full season) and La Liga (full season). Going to Turkey would be taking several steps backwards. So this is indeed a top decision. Subzero047: 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Jamilu makes Top 20 Bundesliga players with the most touches on the ball for the 2019/2020 season Note: Instead of just simple touches this statistic also includes passes, shots, clearances, dribblings, tackles but also uncontrolled touches. Every action on the ball is considered one touch. Hence, a player running down the field with the ball will only receive one touch in the statistic. 1. Joshua Kimmich (FC Bayern) - 2423 2.
