Religion has been one of the worst thing that's happened to humanity. It corrodes the reasoning of many people. If your supreme being can't fight for itself, then why are you worshipping it? You insult Jesus or God, a christian tells you your reward is with God. You insult Sango or ifa or amadioha and the priest goes to his shrine to do incantations against you. You say something about Mohammad or Allah and morons have already brought out knives and cutlasses to fight for their god. So who's worshipping a more superior being amongst em all? For every civilization there are laws that guides the people's behavior at all time. In the U.S (a paradises most of you are hope to end up in), there are offences that are punished by death just like a lot of places around the world. This person sentenced is not a Christian nor a southerner, he is well aware of the consequences of the grievous sin he committed and yet he did what he did. Anybody who is incapable of abiding by set rules guiding the society is a cancer in that society and such must be removed before he affects others.
