So many expectations from Osimhen, I pray he comes good

This guy needs 15/20 goals by all means

I believe he will as far as he is injury free

Earning more than mertens should tell us alot

Heat map proves nothing it's not even Indicative.

Heatmap proves a lot of things... It shows how much part of the pitch a player explores during a game even outside their main position..For instance,if somebody told me that Roberto Firmino does nothing in the Liverpool team because his goal return as a striker is poor, I would show him Firmino's heatmap for the season to prove that he isn't just a striker..
The heatmap I posted clearly proved that Osimhen is more involved in his team's play than Tammy.. even the Chelsea fans on this thread who watch Chelsea game regularly have confirmed that Tammy has an housing estate inside his opponent's 18 yard box..

In this regard,Osimhen is clearly the most versatile of the two...

Each team has a different strategy and approach to the game.

First of all Chelsea is not a team that focuses on one player as it's focal point. But rather emphasis is on the attacking formation.

As such you will find a Pulisic 9, Willian 9, Giroud 8, and Mount 8 all scored. What you have is interaction and team play among the forward lines, that's why you have multiple goals from multiple sources. And so Tega scores goals from the interaction between players.

So if he wasn't a good team player in a highly technical team, how did he score 15 EPL goals.

Victor Osimhen position is totally different, he is essentially the team. Their entire team strategy is centred around him. He is the focal point of the entire team, the team strategy is very simple, "give the ball to Victor"

Almost half of all the goals Lille scored in French league one where scored by Victor. That says it all, out of 35 goals scored by Lille in the league, 13 were scored by Victor.

Osimhen being the centre point of Lille's gameplay simply shows how good he is,don't you think..
Tammy on the other hand has been benched several times by a 33 years old Giroud and now,a much better striker has been signed to give him competition or maybe bench him..

Your proposition is completely wrong the team player is Tega not Victor. Tega scored just about 20% of Chelsea 69 goals in the EPL.

Osimhen got 4 assists and created 5 big chances in the league this season.. Tammy on the other hand got just 1 assists and created 1big chances..

U self judge am..who is the better team player?unless u want to stick with your "stats are indicative " bla bla

The question is can Victor play as part of a team in a technical based team without him being the focal point. His real test will be with Napoli because for the first time in his professional career he is not going to be the focal point of the team. How will he adapt and can he thrive.

Napoli are one of the most tactically balanced team in Italy and maybe Europe... They are a team that have maintained a possesive attacking style of play in the past 5 seasons despite having different managers.. They have/had some very fine players like Mertens,Insigne,Milik,Callejon,Lozano,Koulibaly,etc... Do u really think they would spend that much money on Osimhen if they thought he wasn't good enough to play for them?
On the other hand,Tammy was quite lucky to play for Chelsea.... If they really wanted him, they would have called him back afrer his back to back fine season in tge championship..instead,they waited until a transfer ban came in before giving him and other youth players a chance..
Osimhen worked his way to the top...it wasn't handed to him on a platter of gold!

You actually evaded my question when l asked what attributes does Victor have over Tega.

I have answered your question...
You just decide to pretend I didn't..

He was playing in the division 1 when he was invited, do you want him to be discarded if he keeps playing well because his club is relegated?

When he was invited for this years unplayed qualifiers? undecided

But Chris would come here and be laughing at Ighalo.....

Is that his stats outside the league? Kindly go through the conversation again
Dybala: Serie A - P33 Goals 11 Assists 11.....Other comp(s). P13 Goals 6 Assists 4

Ronaldo: Serie A - P33 Goals 31 Assists 6......Other comp(s). P13 Goals 6 Assists 1

So, compare the league stat and overall stat, then justify how you think the pedigree thingy happened

The Juventus MVP is for performance across all competitions while the serie A MVP is for the league only.

The above is the comment I replied to when I said that if that was the case Dybala still deserves it because he was chosen ahead of Ronaldo in Seria A despite Ronaldo's stat but if the Juventus MVP was for all round, he still had better stats outside the league

Nobody is arguing about wether Ronaldo deserves it or not, we're talking about the criteria used here

Chukwueze played probably his best game for Villarreal last season and if that alone is not form worthy to be maintained and improved on

You're are making it seem as though he was terrible last season

I understand that man's just 21, but man's game gotta mature to be a key player. Man has Messi-esque stats but ruins it with inconstitency.

Nope. It's never about the percentage.

It's always about representation.

"we sef get pesin for there"

There was a time Yoruba's were the most in the NT. And there's time Easterners(including south) were the most.

The goal is to make sure each of the 3 region has a player in the starting lineup.

If you have the time, disprove that. Pretty sure you can't.

Call it coincidence if you like, but Shehu has only been in the team to fulfill quota requirements

overall stat is what i'm talking about here
he definitely has the better stat of the two.

Though, i just think the Serie A panel are just clueless with voting/chosing MVPs.....cos the same thing happened last season when Ronaldo was given the MVP when obviously Qugliarella should have won it.
so, Dybala wining it over Ciro and Cris isn't a suprise to me

EPL at it again,
Man U who finished 3rd in the EPL with a squad worth over €500m and weekly wages worth more than €10m just drew Copenhagen whom finished runners up in Danish league.

3 gbosa for Man U, do you know what it takes to get a 90mins draw against a whole Copenhagen?

And someone said even the championship is better than most of these other countries leagues, including Danish league.

Copenhagen make PSV go beat home and away.

EPL and UEFA coefficient ranking my foot.

The only teams that can hold their own against any other big teams in the whole of Europe are Man City and Liverpool, the rest na mumu.

Watch how Sevilla will school wolves tomorrow.

We need to run a DNA test on Karl Johnsson... Perhaps he has ancestral link to Nigeria.

He won't be bad as Eagles No. 1

The guy was phenomenal tonight!
13 saves in a single UEL. Highest since 2009

Inter, 2.10 odd, 20k to win 42k... I won it today.
Don't worry, you see the way Sevilla outclassed and beat Roma? That's how they are also gonna outclassed and beat Wolves.

It's a one leg affair and a neutral venue, Traore will gas out before 60mins because Sevilla plays a higher and better pressing game.

You think wolves can beat Roma whom Sevilla manhandled with all the Dzeko, Kolarov and others? This is Europe league and if they both don't meet, it's gonna be Inter vs Sevilla final.

That was not the focus of the discussion. I used it as a yardstick to explain to him.

I said, it's not about percentage of Yoruba, Hausa or Igbos in the team, it's about representation.

And he was using a scenario where we have 60% of Hausa in the NT. I said, during different periods, different regions are the most I'm numbers. That doesn't matter, not really.

What matters is going to the tournament on merit, say, no Hausa, Igbo, or Yoruba was good enough to make the team. Remember we said merit. It's very much possible if we're being honest, but who would listen to that?

That in a whole region, there's no one good enough to make the national team?

That will be the question
